Not to hate at all, but why not get a dual hose unit? It’s causing a negative pressure in the room. I have the Toshiba dual hose inverter heat pump at my grandmas and it wrings out the air. It also pumps water out a tube out the window about every 10 minutes.
Those units are quite expensive and the room has such horrible weather sealing that it would have made no difference. I do wish that this unit had a pump built in as emptying the bucket was annoying.
Anyone know what the code “EL OC “ mean? Mine keeps turning off after 20min. Disassembled and cleaned. Filters clean. Drain pipe good to go. Still I get those error codes.
Thanks for posting this. My brand-new unit recently started leaking water. I had no idea how much water it collects.
I let mine drain into a condensate pump and it shoots it out the window. I’ve had too many close calls forgetting to drain the bucket 😆
