    It’s good that Graham helped Buffett and believed in him to help him by guiding him .
    It is also good that Buffett and Munger stayed friends and business partners throughout the years that business and friendship connection is rare today .
    Also the reason why Buffett was good at what he does is he knew exactly what was a good thing to invest in he looked at every detail before he invested in a stock he had a great eye .

    It's deceitful to say that picking the winning stocks isn't hard. It is actually very hard. It's a skill smarter people than you haven't mastered. Otherwise, we'd all be millionaires and billionaires.

    • @erwindee7384
      @erwindee7384 5 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      To be fair, it really isn't hard. The hard part is discipline. The techniques are easy, the execution is hard. It's hard to understand what that means, and it's even harder to explain - especially to someone who's never tried trading/investing - which is why many people describe it as either "easy" or "hard" and very few capture the nuances.

      @@thepro08 you seem like someone that doesn't know what a pyramid scheme or a ponzi scheme truly means. Buffet is not a trader, he is specifically an investor and he has been one since more than half a century. Buffet made investments when he was 20,some of those stocks he held for decades. He worked insanely hard and at small jobs although he was affluent. The same value system was instilled in his kids and they are not your typical billionaires.

      I agree with u but halfway, back in march-april of 2018 buffet bought 72million shares of Apple, then 3weeks later apple announces group facetime and it shoots up $8.00 ! Buffet just profitted 72,000,00 *8= you do the math! Then 2 months later apple is the first trillion dollar company and the price soars! So basically you are right that its a scheme , this scheme is called insider trading, but warren does invest in tech! These rich guys talk over lunch on their next moves and buffer drives the market and copy cats follow buffet thinking he is a cash god but on fact he does insider trading sadly not as humble as yall think! Also he was born into money. Humble beginning my ass.

    Easier said than done. For every video that says the buffet way of investing works there are 100 that say it doen’t. It’s all nice in theory but it’s about execution and the reality offers you very few receptors for a successful execution. The world is nowadays very competitive and one would find a very hard time successfully breaking in. And no, a fluke investment hit wouldn’t count. Consistency is the key here. I would probably make a lot more money making videos on how to invest buffet-style than actually investing buffet-style, hence this video’s existence. I liked this video and subbed for its presentation quality, not the actual content.

      Well, doesn't matter what his parents did. He still had to earn his own money by selling cokes, delivering newspapers, until he had enough capital to buy pinball machines, essentially his first venture.

    • @andrewden1699
      @andrewden1699 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ll respond to all of you. I learn a lot from Warren Buffett. But it’s all mentality. If you see your father running for Congress, you want to aspire for more. I guarantee you if his parents didn’t have such high ambitions, he wouldn’t either. So yes. It matters. Even if it’s a small grocery store. That’s even more motivational than his dad owning a bank. Yes, he did make his own money, but he inherited wisdom from his parents. So it’s not as humble as they make it seem. Of course, that being said, very few would become billionaires even with the inspiration. So Warren Buffett is one of a kind. 💪🏻

      That’s the problem with people stop picking good stocks and start picking good companies. That’s the whole point of buffet. If u focus on being an investor with a company in the market u are less likely to lose in the market because u know the operation of what is happening in the financials.

    One thing you may not know is that, in addition to the Great Depression starting, the largest bank robbery in history took place in Lincoln, about 50 miles south of Omaha. (They got away with 2.7 million, which in today's money is over 30 million.) It was significant because there was no FDIC, and the impact could have destroyed the state's economy. What saved them from the collapse was Al Capone's long-lost brother (who lived near Omaha) going to him and convincing him to tell the bank robbers to give the money back, which they did.

    • @zumabbar
