He's obviously gorgeous and you can tell he's a hard worker and he doesn't take any of his roles in working for granted. I had also read a few comments talking about how Jason supposedly lost a friendship due to ol Aquaman sneaking up to dude's home when just his wife was there and making "sea-man" deposits? It was a very sweet gift he gave that darling angel of course, but all these ladies who are drooling over him wouldn't think he's so beautiful if they were the fiancée finding out their hubby to be, had started a whole new relationship and was about to be a dad to another woman's child? As a descendent of Mexican parents,me-born and raised in the states... I dealt with not fitting in the states because ppl saw me as different...and the same deal when I visited Mexico. as a korean american born in georgia, i went through similar stuff both in the states and in korea. going to school was rough no matter where i was. i feel more at home in korea but feel patriotic as an american. such a confusing life i live... but at the end of the day, you just need to be you (like you said lol)

and the demands of "fame" result in more obligation to more masters, more travel, more time spent with others... and, the fame it seems Bonet never wanted, she chose a movie that derailed her career, then... got pregnant with Zoe costing her a restart, watch her look irritated and stalk away from the camera... Jason seems like a kid at heart, he jokes he is a "puppy" not an old soul... look at how irritated she looks as he has fun getting ready for an award dinner. I can imagine him having trouble balancing all he is involved in at this point, and it takes some real sophistication to avoid all those who want a piece of a person who is where he is today... he's outgoing, now he has more places to go, it seems Lisa doesn't want to and maybe, doesn't want to share. It's difficult to keep your balance in that business, yet, you still see him playing like any dad with the kids. I wonder if some time apart is all they need... and, I don't see him going egotistical, I actually think there is some innate shyness over compensated by "loud and out there", the "role" that covers any hesitancy @@scottsullivan234

Stargate Atlantis was a brilliant show and he was great in it. I never watched it at the time it was on the air, I don't watch tv... found it later looking for an adventure series to watch while I walk on the treadmill during quarantine. Marvelous writing, great characters, every one of them perfect in their role... Glad you mentioned it.. unbelievable to me he went through such a long period of no work, waiting for the industry to come to the point of a perfect role for him and all the extraordinary talents who put Aquaman together to happen.

One thing I want to say is that Lisa Bonet apparently chose partners that were selfless and put emotional needs first, specifically their children’s, despite their own needs. She was able to maintain a good, respectful relationship with her ex husband Lenny Kravitz and it seems she’ll do the same with Jason Mamoa. I feel sad that they broke up but whatever the reason, I love the respect that each one has for each other. Neither one denies the feeling they felt and may always feel despite their inability to make their marriage work. I wish that people weren’t so rushed to give up on a relationship but at the very least, working to continue one when a marriage ends is still quite admirable and should be something that most divorced parents with children should aim to do. I personally wish that they would reconcile but that’s between them.
Well them splitting in 2020, not announcing it till 2022, and not actually filing until 2024 tells me they put in a lot of work, cooperating in a smooth split. But Lisa and Jason have both said it wont happen again.
It's crazy how mix race children feel like they don't fit in and they get teased for not being one or the other. Like why can't we just live and let live? RIP to the young child that lost his life. 😥

I'm often amazed that actors stay together when you think about how they change themselves to play a role, there is no "back" button for who you were when you left to work on location for three months, and months of follow up, no "back" button for who you were while you were touring a grand opening of a big movie and working on location at the same time. I don't have the impression it has anything to do with a lack of love though, I have to wonder at the videos I have seen of Lisa pushing away during photos or looking annoyed as he excitedly dresses for an event in suit created for him by a famous designer, she doesn't look happy in the amazing dress that was sent, brought by representatives, for her... it's interesting, no way to know what is going on but she isn't enjoying it. I have a feeling she likes a quiet home life and he... loves being out there, active... he's with the surfing crowd, the classic Harley crowd, the climbing crowd... is it possible so many exciting doors are opening for him and she... wants a quiet life at home

There are a lot of guys and Hollywood actors who look sweet and clean handsome yet, are sooo mean in real life. Momoa is the opposite of that. And it's normal for a struggling actor for many years to focus on his career when it has started to look better. Who woudn't? More good luck to Jason...
