      With that amount of rounds you go through, when was the last time you had some blood work done? Lead accumulates. If you already got a whole routine of cleaning yourself up after shooting, share it. Noice video.

      It's not a firearm. Often confused by it's similar shape, but this is an ammunition disassembly device separating the projectile from the casing, thus rendering the ammo "no longer dangerous". We must all do our part to personally confiscate these dangerous things and keep them from ending up in the streets. I personally try to remove the threat piece by piece as often as I can.

      @Yuri Travels, I hope you are being sarcastic? Anybody remember BASIC Firearm safety? Anyone? Short version, Point gun towards intended target, If loaded,release safety and SQUEEZE trigger.After firing (even multiple rounds), engage safety! I can only imagine some young (or even expierienced) shooter picking up a binary firearm,making a safe shot, and releasing trigger with accidental discharge!Look dad, I hit the can ,exiitedly turns for approval and shoots???????? I am a 50+ year old gun enthusiast,and can appreciate a giggle switch now and then,but lets not change the rules where every one has to learn differently That's what causes accidents and gives firearms(and owners) a bad name! By the way, I am currently working on a binary trigger for chainsaws! @@charlesfriend9557said, _shooter picking up a binary firearm,making a safe shot, and releasing trigger with accidental discharge!Look dad, I hit the can ,exiitedly turns for approval and shoots????????_
      If I understand what you're suggesting, is that someone fires, keeps the finger on the trigger while turning around "for approval" and then releasing the trigger and firing the 2nd round while the gun is pointed at the dad. There are some other issues here before talking about a mechanical safety.
      No one's finger should be in the trigger guard unless it is pointing down range and ready to fire. Your scenario where the child turns for approval with his finger still holding down the trigger clearly breaks that rule, too. In addition, he shouldn't be swinging the barrel around toward people. So he's now broken TWO safety compliance rules before we even get to the issue of also consciously using a separate mechanical safety...and that assumes the gun has one. There a number of guns that do not even have a separate manual safety.

    So, I went to the range one day and there was this guy there who had a 10/22 set up on a chassis for precision shooting. That guy showed me his targets and all of those holes were right precisely in the middle of the target all clustered around it. Just as it should be. So, I asked him about his setup. He told me all about the aftermarket Boyds stock, the Kidd trigger system and bolt. He had a bull barrel of some sort on it. The receiver came from somewhere else. I thought it looked and shot pretty dang good and I told him so. Then I said, "So, let me see if I got this straight, somewhere, in a box, is a complete Ruger 10/22 that you rebuilt piece by piece until now you have that one and this one?" He thought about it and grinned. He told me he guessed I was right.
    He shot for a while longer and I moved down to the pistol range. Later on he packed up and he made a point to tell me he was gonna go locate all those parts and rebuild that stock Ruger 10/22. Then he laughed and said he had some different parts that would improve it some. I just laughed. I knew that pretty soon he would have another 10/22 built and the original still sitting in a box in pieces.

      Currently the 10/22 chargers are hard to get and when you find them theyve skyrocketed in price. I’m in Oklahoma and had to buy mine from Vermont. I got lucky and it wasn’t marked up an abhorrent amount. I got mine for $276+$25shipping+$20transfer at my LGS.
      I had to buy the 1913 rail adapter. That was $50. The braces are $160 for the polymer strut version and $199 for the aluminum strut version. The binary is $299.
      So total for me was $276+$25+$20+$50+$160+$300=$831
      As for the suppressor, I did a form1 suppressor. Basically bought a solvent trap off gunbroker, filed a form 1 for $200, and drilled the trap when I was approved. The approval was something like 4 weeks for a form1 vs a year plus for a form4. Build the suppressor yourself. You won’t be unhappy.
      This is the form1 kit I used but you can go with a JK kit or WTT or whatever else you want.

    Can't say I am comfortable with the concept of this trigger. The established gun safety practice of removing your finger from the trigger to prevent accidental discharge on pretty much any other firearm actively fires another round with this trigger. That for me crosses a line in firearms safety that I'm just not OK with regardless of the option to flip the lever.

      Just like he can't sit on his couch and smoke a joint in what ever flyover he currently resides in. Just like I can't go to a casino here in Oregon. Wait, I can. And I can smoke a joint on my couch. And I can own this weapon. All in super liberal anarchist jurisdiction Oregon. HAHAHAHANAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    All these damn gun channels and their gun ranges.
    Makes me excited and want to build my own carnival style shooting gallery range. Full with the Home Alone style set with targets motorized on a train track and a whole set with moving gizmos and contraptions
    To put it more simply, making a pinball machine inspired gun range

      Paintball triggers just actuate an air valve. There is a shit ton more going on with triggers in real guns. And binary triggers are not new.

      They'll refer to binary triggers as, "more controllable, more accurate & more deadly than a bumpstock"... No NFA item either, Trump & the NRA will give 'em up faster than a rainbow haired rapper can give up his friends in court.

    I’m more impressed you got a BX-25 mag to run that well.

    • @gsyoung54
      @gsyoung54 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's not the mag that's giving you problems, it's your dirty gritty feed ramp and chamber. If you just clean those you too will get perfect performance from the Ruger mags. If that doesn't help you need to send your gun back to Ruger. I have many 10-22's. Most are semi, some are semi and suppressed, a pre 86 full auto and a couple of these binaries and all work fine with genuine Ruger mags. The 15 round one is my favorite but the 25s work fine.

    • @thedant21
      @thedant21 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      gsyoung54 Cleaned before I go out every time. There is too much play in the mag and stove pipes often. I’ve done all the internet fixes you can find and all 3 I have are still not reliable. NEVER had an issue with factory 10rd mags.

    • @thedant21
      @thedant21 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      gsyoung54 Oh and this is out of a 10/22 Ultra Lite takedown, standard carbine that’s all factory and a Charger. They’re shit for the money.
