I agree! 797 pieces but still missing 3, Fred, George and Vernon’s belly… they also could have added a working trunk with Harry’s case in the flying car!
It’s an odd one alright. Harry and Ron are in their costumes from when the car flies to Hogwarts rather than the rescue from privet drive. Petunia is in the outfit she wears when Marge visits in PoA and Dudley is dressed for his birthday/zoo visit. The letters play feature and front door sticker are from Philosopher’s Stone and the cake mini build is from Chamber of Secrets. Harry has his few possessions in the cupboard under the stairs but is also in Dudley’s second bedroom upstairs. The boy who lived Daily Prophet is from Goblet of fire and as you say, Vernon doesn’t even get a dedicated torso just for him. This is definitely a play set that gives you the bones of a number of scenes set in the location without being about any one scene in particular. As a MOC builder I love the set for this diversity but it’s not great if you want a dedicated display of a particular movie scene. Great video👍
Complete agree, feel like it was designed for play - I just think the set would have been so much better if they spent more of the budget and effort on nailing the right elements! Since they're remaking everything else, I wonder if this set will ever get another updated version. This set is perfect for MOCs though - I can't wait to turn mine into a full sized house with a garage! Thanks for your comment.
Your right avout the car being unable to fit 4 characters inside it. So with a few more pices made the car wider. I'd have removed Ron and instead included young Fred and George. Maybe I'd find a video or an online instruction booklet that makes the flying ford car wider.

Great review, agree about Uncle Vernons belly! Shame they didn’t include Fred & George. Well explained review thank you!

This is one of my favorite sets. I love it.
Now it’s been on display a while I am really glad i’ve got it!

100% what I would have done, or removed dobby and the cake for fred and george.
I think this set is pretty cool, but I do agree they could have done more and it would have made it so so much better. Great alternative view on this!
A lack of focus in certain areas, but it does look really nice on display!
@@brickodan You're not wrong there! Still a visually pleasing set none the less
I can never get the flying letter play feature to work its been rebuilt 3 times
Yup, it gets jammed very often, letters have to be at the perfect angle for it to work smoothly.
