Not called buggies, rather they are called doodle bugs. They have an interesting history, and many are now being saved. The originals were mostly Model T or Model A cars that were cut down, with big chained wheels added to the rear. The tradition is that they are now restored only to the degree they become functional, and then maintained on a shoe-string. No painting, and used or homemade parts only.
Re-title the video jitterbug or doodle bug for more views . They were originally made durring the great depression because farmers couldn't afford tractors. Different countries had different names, times/reasons for making them.
These are all old 'pulling tractors'. A tip-off is the use of ballast weights and deeply lugged rear tires. Try to offer a bit more commentary than 'look at that' and 'awright', and 'cool'. How about identifying some of the engines used in these old 'pullers'? I've seen old tractors converted from cars. They had large-diameter steel lugged wheels and were made from 1920's car engines and truck transmissions.
