- Re-mastered. An amalgam of Changes from Alan Price and a WWI song which was also used in 'Oh What A Lovely War'. The Price song backed an 80s advert for a VW Golf. Guest appearance from Bill (36 years younger on far left in photo) on the harmonica. View of young Edge Hill trainee teachers in 1974 on Kidsty Pike, Lake District, NW England. Thanks for the pic, Clive. "It's here today and gone tomorrow ..."

Hi Jim.
Thanks for that.
Hey, BW. That's very kind, thank you.
Good morning, Gari. Thanks for that - I'm pleased you liked it. Regards.
Bonjour, Jean-Pierre and Liil. Thank you for those kind words.
Was this part of the sound track
Of the movie oh what a lovely war
Yep, it was. ( see above :) )
@@raffaport was it also used in the British movie ( please sir ) with different lyrics
Any idea when this song was first performed
And was the melody originally a hymn
@@billgowland3250 here's a link to a clip from "Oh What A Lovely War". The original hymn is "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" . Alan Price used the same melody in a song called "Changes" which was used in a UK advert for VW Golf cars in 1987. Hope this helps. (Just copy and paste the links if they don't come through live)
