I know nothing about dance but thought this shows his sides ...both masculine and feminine sensuality. That is what I like about Jimin. He is about not being into stereotypes.

Jimin is enchanting, he knows the softs and strong parts, where he needs to put energy and where not to and it makes it so much dynamic. Jimin is such a natural, he does not practices those facial expressions, he gets immersed in the song and feels it and everything comes naturally. Jimin is really my favourite dancer, people think doing strong dance moves is tough but in reality making these soft light complicated moves seem effortless and so breezy is what differentiates a damcer from a good dancer
Yeh I noticed the same thing, in kpop is so normal to see dancer being to expressive with their faces, ( in my opinion sometimes over doing it) but with jimin is all in his body eyes, everything it seems so well done

jimin has such expressive eyes. he's able to adjust his facial performance based on the feel of the song/performance. it's very seductive, alluring and captivating. for blood, sweat and tears and like crazy, his eyes capture you immediately. it's very sultry. for lie and set me free pt. 2, his eyes are very powerful and intense. he's truly a one of a kind entertainer and born to be on stage. you can tell he takes his craft seriously, loves to dance and understands what it means to be a real performer/entertainer beyond singing/dancing. he knows how to perform, captivate the audience and uses every part of his body to tell the story of the performance.

I so agree I have always noticed jimin never exaggerates his moves always smooth and slightly tight . His modern dance always shows .I love it
on point! dancing is second nature to him and you can see it exactly with how effortlessly he moves with such fluidity and grace but delivering still precise elegant grandeur performance with the subtlest but impassioned moves. People try to copy his moves but they can never replicate his kind of delivery. his stage presence and charm is so powerful he don’t need to exaggerate moves, nor expressions. in fact he has the best control of both.

His stage presence, his aura, the way he looks in to the camera, it all just pulls you into the dance and his alluring movements. He is not just an incredibly talented dancer, he is an incredibly talented performer as well.

It's interesting how you described it as dreamy....cause it very well describes the vibe of the song as well.
This should be a abvious indication that jimin is the best to express emotionally a dance, you are not the first professional to say the dance it gives the dreamy feeling. It was exactly the 'theme' of this song, jimin was even holding back his energy to make it look like that. He is an amazing dancer

I had noticed green jacket too!! Also the woman who does the duet with Jimin in this. A different dancer is in a lot of the stage performances for this part and she is also great but I love the quietly fierce energy this woman brings to it--she is serving face consistently as well! Also totally agree about Jimin's eyes. He does so much storytelling with them and they're part of why (to me) his performance always feels so emotionally legible!
I think with both the male and female dancers next to him, you can really see how Jimin stands out as a male dancer that excels in tapping into feminen lines/energy. For example, in the move at 5:05, his shape more "feminen" in excecution and I LOVE IT. He's able to move with such precission, and you can pretty much pause at any moment in the dance and his shape is superior. I can see why he's known for his dance lines.
There was so much connection between Jimin and the each "groups/sets" of dancers that all connected and then separated and it worked SO WELL with both the movements/choreography as well as the lyrics. I absolutely love this performance.
Bringing up the "camera loves Jimin" is a great way to put it, too!
Jimin needs to be watched on repeat because it's hard to take in every aspect of his dance in one go. It's not hard to do though, his dance moves are so mesmerising and addictive. 🫠
I repeat and repeat watch often. I also slow down the speed of the video. You should try that.

jimin is a master of the subtleties of the beauty of dance… that’s why his style is so hard to replicate and often times his solos are hard to cover for kpop dance covers and most of the times is not done justice 😭

I love, love, love your reaction videos. Too many westerners downplay kpop dance, but your reactions have beautiful breakdowns that strip the culturally blinding judgment while shining light on the complexity and incredible talent that these choreos are so infused with. This makes your reactions more than reactions; they are neutralizing cultural bridges that allow pure skill and talent to be recognized for what they are. Thank you.
In general, Westerners have still not been massively exposed to K-pop or just vaguely know what it is. Those that have, make their judgement based on who they've seen. Like with everything, there are good and then there are just meh K-pop groups. I'm a Westerner myself, and everyone I have shown BTS to and in particular Jimin have commented on their dancing skills. My 85 year old mother thinks Jimin is a beautiful dancer. Same with any Western K-pop reactors here on YT. ALL of them always comment on how K-pop choreos are insane (the good ones). So I think making a sweeping statement about a lot not appreciating K-pop dance is misleading.
Jimin dance feels natural like every movement is an extension of him. Sometimes i see great dancers and i know they have been putting out a well practiced performance but with some you feel like all of this is flowing, as if it is coming to them very naturally. Jimin feels like the kind of dancer who comes in later category. It is so beautiful to watch him perform.

I really really want you to check out his practice with the New York City dancers. Even in your own time. You will be more impressed. Personally I suspect his backup dancers in NYC has more modern dance background while his Korean crew are from more of a hip hop dance background. Would you agree?

He said to do the moves that small yet have impact required a lot of skill.

I enjoyed the dance preference of this song more than I did the MV, and I loved the MV!
Especially this type of preference from Jimin because it was mesmerizing, truly. And his team, too. They had such stage presence, and still, they didn't overshadow Jimin but accentuated his own movement, which always amazed me as a non-dancer. The ability to stand out and, at the same time, bland in.
They all did amazing!!!
So I haven't danced in awhile, but this song, this choreography, made me want to get up and dance ... so I did! And I remembered how good it felt to moooove to music and not just bop to it in the car. Thnx for the reaction Clay, maybe I'll join some Steezy classes ... we'll see.💜

True, I also watched that reaction and i'm thinking if this reactor is really a skilled dancer co'z skilled professional dancers really amazed JIMIN's dance moves and versatility and even in praised Jimin's dancing skills and this man is praising everytime another member even if it's obviously JIMIN has the best dance lines, dance moves,stage presence and a versatile dancer and I just realized that this man is a hip hop dancer and don't know nothing about beautiful dance lines and he can't even dance what JIMIN can, but JIMIN can what this man can't... Боже, они просто оба лучшие, каждый в своем направлении. Чимин не покажет уличные танцы так, как это сделает Хосок, но и Хоби не исполнит ту же хорягу Black Swan, как Чимин. И именно поэтому они - главные танцоры группы, а не Чонгуки или Тэ. И как бэ, у Хосока точно так же не только техника, но и чувства в танце. Более техничный танцор - это Гуки, а Хоби и Чимин оба про чувства в своих перфомансах.
Поэтому не нужно в очередной раз оспаривать звание Хосока как дэнс-лидера и лучшего танцора группы. Сам Чимин это не оспаривает, вы тем более не можете, уж извините.
