I'd love to see some good foundation dupes. I feel like people tend to focus a lot on lipstick and eyeshadow, but I always have trouble finding a good quality foundation. I always have trouble with staying power and a natural finish but still good coverage. I want to try a nice high end foundation sooooo badly. But I'm a college student and can't afford to.
I'd love to find a very fair low priced highlighter! I wear Becca's Pearl - the white-ish shade - and can't seem to find a drugstore highlight that is light enough :\
I love the fact that Emily never gets caught up in the HYPE surrounding all these high end products. We can always count on her for OBJECTIVE reviews. I also agree with her about the two faced & marc jacobs products. I had both and returned them because I found I had the same dupes she mentioned. So thanks for always keeping it real. Unfortunately, Honesty seems to be in limited supply on you tube nowadays.
dana williams Agreed... and she doesn't do PR unboxing videos either.. she tells us when something is sent to her but she never flaunts 30 boxes and acts like its such a hassle to open them all and clean up the mess.. she's the most classy mature beauty influencer on TH-cam that I've seen, and I follow a lot of them!

And I love how she speaks to those of us who don't have the finances for high end products (e.g. Me). In fact, she was my very first TH-camr I watched. She is also given accolades in comments on other videos. Truly a class act with no profanity or using God's name. This latter aspect is my personal litmus test when I subscribe.
I just scrolled down and read everything you posted...I love your transparency and honest reviews. I love that you do NOT use any curse words and do not use silly thumbnail pics with unnecessary words! Keep being you because there is a huge audience for your type of honest, wholesome reviews! I can watch your videos in a room with my kids and not worry....thank you!

36 yr old mom of three here, with an intense makeup obsession. But, hehe, a modest makeup budget. I cannot, repeat, CANNOT afford to waste money on underperforming products, and this is probably one of my favorite makeup review videos OF ALL TIME for that reason! I don't have time for flashy videos with the latest "it" products, I need info on the ones the will deliver and your reviews are always on point. This is a gold concept. Keep em coming! Can you review some No. 7 products...they are at Target & Walgreens. Walgreens actually has testers. I have bought more WetNWild than I care to admit too. That bronzer was way to dark for me & the blushes don't last. As you mature your skin is more sensitive so enjoy these less expensive products while you can girls. Thanks Em...I do want to try the Milani powder.
That's what my grandmother wears. (the No. 7) I think she wears vanilla? She gave me a bottle once. It creases a bit, but a good primer or powder would probably fix that. It's light to medium coverage, and pretty moisturizing. Just in case anyone's still wondering about it! (the bottle she gave me wasn't my color, so I can't talk about that lol)

On her left side, our right, when discussing concealer...the high end side, very faintly you can see a slight under-eye circle...very faint, but the dupe side looks flawless. I wonder if it's a trick of the light or maybe the dupe side really does give a weightless, full coverage better than the high end.🌟 👡 🌞 😃

Awesome video! Drugstore cosmetics have come a long way. I remember back in the early 80's and pretty much all you could get was CoverGirl, Maybelline, and Revlon, plus Coty powder. When Neutrogena started making cosmetics it was a revelation!

Did you try it? I was shocked how good it is! And, I really never use drugstore mascara mainly because my eyelashes are really picky and I got hooked on a high end one that actually didn't make my lashes fall out. But, I LOVE Lash Paradise!
So agree on the Infallible concealer. I️ can even pull it off as my only make up for days I’m not going anywhere special. I️ tried the infallible liquid lip stick from seeing you use and looove how comfortable it is. I️ wish I️ liked more of their colors!

I too thought the It Illumination was a little chalky with the brush, so I use it with the flat sponge in the compact and press it in thinly, so it looks much better. Since I have an oily t zone, I use a tinted powder there. Can't wait to try some of the drugstore items!

In response to your thought about the titles: No, I watch my favorite youtubers regardless of the title or thumb nail. And it's actually super annoying that everything is turning into " OMG HUGE SURPRISE. YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED." It's unnecessary and cheapens actually amazing events.
This is the most amazing no makeup/makeup look I've ever seen. I had no idea you were even wearing concealer. You have such amazing skin. I could never pull off a no makeup/makeup look like that.
I recently subscribed to your channel because JenLuvs mentioned you in a video of hers. I loved this video and definitely think you should do more. I'm a high end makeup snob but I've been really digging the Wet N Wild Photofocus concealer lately. Over Tarte Shape Tape, Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer, and all the other high end concealers I have. It just seems to work so well with my skin type.

Can you review some No. 7 products...they are at Target & Walgreens. Walgreens actually has testers. I have bought more WetNWild than I care to admit too. That bronzer was way to dark for me & the blushes don't last. As you mature your skin is more sensitive so enjoy these less expensive products while you can girls. Thanks Em...I do want to try the Milani powder.

No. 7 Stay Perfect foundation is excellent. Cool Vanilla is my flavor.
That's what my grandmother wears. (the No. 7) I think she wears vanilla? She gave me a bottle once. It creases a bit, but a good primer or powder would probably fix that. It's light to medium coverage, and pretty moisturizing. Just in case anyone's still wondering about it! (the bottle she gave me wasn't my color, so I can't talk about that lol)

On her left side, our right, when discussing concealer...the high end side, very faintly you can see a slight under-eye circle...very faint, but the dupe side looks flawless. I wonder if it's a trick of the light or maybe the dupe side really does give a weightless, full coverage better than the high end.🌟 👡 🌞 😃

I'd put the makeup revolution conceal and define up against tst any day! I actually prefer the makeup revolution. it was $6.oo either at ulta or makeup revolution's American website!

L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara is AMAZING! My eyelashes could never hold a curl even with primer but this did without. I'll be picking up more.

Awesome video! Drugstore cosmetics have come a long way. I remember back in the early 80's and pretty much all you could get was CoverGirl, Maybelline, and Revlon, plus Coty powder. When Neutrogena started making cosmetics it was a revelation!

Did you try it? I was shocked how good it is! And, I really never use drugstore mascara mainly because my eyelashes are really picky and I got hooked on a high end one that actually didn't make my lashes fall out. But, I LOVE Lash Paradise!

So agree on the Infallible concealer. I️ can even pull it off as my only make up for days I’m not going anywhere special. I️ tried the infallible liquid lip stick from seeing you use and looove how comfortable it is. I️ wish I️ liked more of their colors!

The IT cosmetics bb is by far the best of any I've tried! No concealer needed as it cancels redness! Bobbi brown bb is worthless lol!
I too thought the It Illumination was a little chalky with the brush, so I use it with the flat sponge in the compact and press it in thinly, so it looks much better. Since I have an oily t zone, I use a tinted powder there. Can't wait to try some of the drugstore items!

In response to your thought about the titles: No, I watch my favorite youtubers regardless of the title or thumb nail. And it's actually super annoying that everything is turning into " OMG HUGE SURPRISE. YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED." It's unnecessary and cheapens actually amazing events.
This is the most amazing no makeup/makeup look I've ever seen. I had no idea you were even wearing concealer. You have such amazing skin. I could never pull off a no makeup/makeup look like that.

I'm a high end makeup snob but I've been really digging the Wet N Wild Photofocus concealer lately. Over Tarte Shape Tape, Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer, and all the other high end concealers I have. It just seems to work so well with my skin type.
