- These are my 4 week old Chihuahua puppies. They are so cute. Maui and Moana are apple head Chihuahuas. They are babydoll face because of their extreme short noses and their apple head features.
If you've been watching my weekly updates, you'll be amazed how their personalities have started to be revealed in week 4.
Little Maui is full of energy and likes to pummel his little sister. Moana is more relaxed and wants to sleep more.

I'm so glad to find your channel... my husband has been wanting me to get a lap dog for some time now, so his boxer mix can have a buddy /pal/ lil friend to give him company while we are away at work, and I haven't been the least bit interested in the idea. Then one day my BFF sent my some pics of her chi puppies. Needles to say... I am now getting two chi puppies in about 3 weeks, and over the moon with excitement. Your vidoes and updates has helped get me informed to give my babies the best loving care.

They are the sweetest🥰🥰🐕 I can believe that they are already 4 weeks old🥳🙏🏻I remember it like it was yesterday when my chi chica was a puppy🥺she and her sister were always playing and as they grew they became more apart and rarely play together. My friend send a pic of my lil Chico which was barely two weeks old venturing out of the doggy bed then traveled several feet away from it. I told my friend that he's looking for cuddle time his new mommy (me) 😍

You should research genetics on doggenetics.co.uk/.. I know you said you Embarked tested, and even they use Dog Genetics to teach breeders about genetics.
The default base color of all animals/dogs is black. All dogs have the ability to produce a black base dog, if bred to another dog who is black base. Although mama is chocolate and white, because dad isn't also chocolate (dd) and white (chocolate is a dilution of black), you only have a 75% chance at producing chocolate base babies in the litter. Both parents are Partis, so of course, all pups would come out parti. Base off of the offspring of the litters.. Dad is a black base dog that carries chocolate.
It matters little what colors any other dog is in the lineage are, just the parents, because genes can be bred out of the line. That is why it's good to do a full color panel (or test through Optimal Selection or Embark), to see what color the parents are and carry. You will then be able to calculate the percent possibility that the pups would come out a certain color.
They are so adorable! My husband said he wished he could pet them but can’t!! Black & White boy reminds us of our little boy, we’ve had him a year & got him at 4 months old. He doesn’t have as much white as your baby & he also has some tan.

Sweetie Pie Pets We thought the name she called him was cute so we kept it. His name is Panda & he’s five & a half pounds & pretty much runs the house, the other (3) dogs love him & he loves them but don’t make him mad. LOL
I was interested in a puppy and asked the breeder (the pups were 4 1/2 weeks) If her pup has begun potty training(pad) , and if his personality was playful so far, and If they the specific one I was interested in getting along with his siblings, especially the male ones (because I mentioned to her I had a male chihuahua at home who is super docile and friendly and I would like him to have a friendly companion)
Immediately after these questions she called me a nut, yelled at me, said that her puppies wouldn’t be a good fit for me because I wasn’t aware that chihuahuas don’t have personalities at 4 weeks, and they don’t socialize, and that it was the most ridiculous I asked about potty training. It made me completely upset and almost cry. Nonetheless I was respectful to her and apologized for offending her, and then she threatened not to contact her again.
I’m glad these videos helped restore my vision on how differently chihuahuas are raised from different breeders.

I have a applehead Chihuahua that is the same age as yours. She was born on June 8th. Her mom died at birth so I've been bottlefeeding her and she is doing great! (Her mom was not my dog) This is the first Chihuahua I've ever had, so I'm so glad I found your videos.

Well, Chihuahuas typically have the radar-dish ears. It's possible for some chi's ears to never stand up, and it'll happen occasionally, but that's not typical of their breed.

@@SweetiePiePets That’s so cool! Thanks for the info! Yes, Cozy had a great Thanksgiving! My parents came down from Louisiana so they got to meet her for the first time. I try to have her meet as many people as she can to keep her well socialized, but it’s 2020 so that gets hard. She was a little apprehensive about them at first, but we let them feed her some turkey and after that she warmed up pretty quick lol! Glad you guys had a nice day!
Beautiful sweeties! So sweet! Question for you, what is the best way to tell if a young chiuauaha puppy is going to have an apple head or a deer head? How soon can you tell? I know most of your sweetiepies are babydoll apple heads so it seems like you can tell on your puppies pretty early, but what about the puppies where they might have both head types run in their lineage? How soon will you be able to tell then?

VividlyTrinity:) thanks for the excellent question. As they grow their features start to develop and normally around age 5 weeks old you can start to see the head shape and nose length. Also, deer heads tend to be taller and have longer legs so that’s another indicator you can pay attention to around about five week mark. By 7 weeks, their features are on full display.
