Man's style is nuts but a park jump in a real ski edit killed the vibe ngl
This year, we opened up the rules to what and where could be filmed, so anything goes!

@@XGames I think in future competitions this shouldn't be allowed honestly. Back-country I'm iffy on but at least in back-country the athlete has to build the jump. A park jump lacks the effort, risk, and overall essence of what makes the name "Real" Ski. If you don't know why it's such a big deal you can watch Seany J explain it in "For Lack of Better" but I can give you the condensed form which is basically "In the park you are only worried about your skiing. In the street, you are worried about everything but your skiing". Backcountry is a medium that should also be looked at but in my book it's fine.
Honestly Ferdi threw down so it's a shame and it's such a silly thing but I feel like he should be DQ'ed.

I'm pretty sure it is a free format and considering the season being influenced by the pandemic and everything there is going on with that I would say it is okay to put in the worlds first dub bio 14 tail
@@frederikhojgaard i feel like a lot of people don't get this, like sure in a normal real ski id prefer all urban stuff but this year is not normal and its a bit weird to pretend that it is

Sick video but a few of those shots were backcountry/park jumps not urban
my man ferdi was taking it home until you know what, why would you put in an average 5 second clip of a park jump of all things, absolute vibe call. you can't tell me he couldn't find one single extra urban spot to conjure up some jib magic
I mean it was a worlds first and it looked pretty sick if you ask me. How does a 5 second clip of a worlds first ruin an entire edit of bangers...
@@dannydressel7433 i don't know why it evokes such a feeling, but it does and i don't seem to be the only one to feel it apparently. It seems very elitaristic and gatekeeper-y but i just don't understand why you would put one single clip of a pretty unremarkable park hit in there. parts have a vibe to them that you create when filming editing etc. so why deviate from it in such an abrupt and redundant fashion.

You guys are complaining about a park jump. How is that not real skiing? Real ski is shredded whatever is in front if you and REAL skiers ski all terrain. Backcountry park and street.
