Tofistock has become one of our go to labels since their first 'Movie Makers' VA back in 2018; we've watched the imprint come into its own, building a close-knit family of artists whilst refining their sound, which swirls around hypnotic trance, low slung trip hop and organic rhythms. For their next instalment, label heads Olsvangèr and MYKI keep it in the family. Alongside two solo cuts, another under Ols' DJ Headshot alias in partnership with Matris, they round off the release together under their new project Babylon X with trance-tinged title track 'Hyper Love'.

it's good, but it's overhyped unfortunately. sounds like all the other "proggy" stuff that's being churned out at the moment (alex kassian, and that whole love on the rocks sound, guy contact, all the stuff on fistcogs that's being price gouged to fuck). can't wait until this hype train finishes tbh

it's always the same cycle! prog / trance / 90's was super hot past two years, seems to be focus is shifting to bass / dnb, then we'll get bored of dnb again! who knows what's next!
