So as mentioned this is aprt of a series, and they are all pretty samey. By the numbers co-op games that have the IP vaguely pasted on. In this one its the death star powering up, in the marvel one its thanos getting the infinity stones, and the batman one..... lol, who cares about the Batman that laughs. Anyway, the spongebob one looks like the odd one out. So yeah, all these games are fine. they are ok. They aren't anything special though and with so many good games you can probably look elsewhere. Unless you are a batman who laughs fan of course.
*If the Death Star comes online, all players immediately lose. I mean, both Death Stars were operational by the time the Rebels attacked, and they still won.
Thanks! I was looking for a Star Wars boardgames for kids but I think for this one mine needs to grow a bit more. Any other recommendations with the Jedi in action?
If i was going to recommend a pandemic game as an alternative. It would be Pandemic: The Clone Wars, lol. I've reviewed that one and its also star wars.

You didn't directly mention it, but there's also a Harry Potter Death Eater version, which is also slightly different but mostly the same (and okay).
I no longer mention that IP on the channel.
Good review. I also wonder why GW hasn't licensed a Horus Rising version yet. I'd be even more interested in that.

Yes. This is what happens when you try to paste an IP on an established game.

Is it a new game? Is it already published?
2 or so years old i think. I got mine on sale from a local store here in NZ
The rights prevented it from being sold in the US, so you've got to import it from elsewhere (Zatu, as an example) in the US.
Huh, i did not know that. How odd
