That is why other Lego sets don't cost quite as much, for example, Ninjago. Ninjago is Lego's own brand, so they don't have to pay someone to be allowed to make the sets.
Something I really appreciate about your videos Jang is that you approach from both the mentality of a collector and from the mentality of a kid. Collectors generally (not all of them of course) like to build the model, set it on their shelf, pose it a little, and maybe make a moc Kids typically (again not all of them) want to just take the toy play with it however they like It's nice to see somebody who understands both

I’m currently working on my Jurassic World version of this game from Ninjago instructions (this is for my daughter who is nuts about dinosaurs). I definitely plan to get some of the larger Ninjago sets from this wave since it will save me a lot of time with few modifications. I hope to find a way to share it with all of you when it’s done. I’ll have to find a way to MOC it up somehow first though. 🤔🤨😀 Gotta have scenery.
I play with my legos and I hate articulation, mostly cause I'm kinda rough with them and have OCD, so every time I play with mechs, I spend more time putting them back into MY specific position than playing with them... and then I just get bored, I don't play with mechs these days :( but this set looks great to just mac into a castle or enemies :D
Wanting to put a mech back into a 'normal' position after posing it is really relatable to me. That's why I think the only downside to LEGO's small mechs is those very high-friction ball joints. They make it sorta hard to get the 'body parts' to be straight.
My fire stone mech is in my bedroom and I never play with it cause its not playable☹I'm getting the skulldungeon for my birthday this weak and that looks playable 😃
The front legs are an easy fix for adding ratchet peices If you have any Or just swapping a few parts out to the technic tube like peice instead of the ratchets
This is the best set if season 13 and my second favorate ninjago set You can take out the brown pegs on the front legs and you can make the legs go back and forth
For sets with Zane without his hairpiece, I wish they gave him a different head print to show some new expressions seeing as you wouldn't be able to see them because you don't have the hair

Hey Jang. If you haven't already decided to review it, I would be very interested to hear your opinions on the new 3-1 Creator Pirate ship. I was able to pick one up and I think it is probably my favorite build so far of 2020 (although I do not get every Lego set, so that is a biased statement, but still).
To this day I still don't get why they do stuff like that with important articulations in large figures. Specially considering the fact that Bionicle's Kikanalo had full articulation in 2004, and it was designed to carry a full-sized Toa on its back! Sometimes I feel like Lego designers incorporate those things to encourage children to take the model apart once they are done to "make it better"... or something?
Maybe even looks robust enough to display. I'll maybe try and color the annoying red pieces. The way I'm going to display it the blue isn't visible. Actually pretty good display build.
So sad Lego has trouble releasing things on time. Here we have to wait 3 months after the final release in the US until the final release and now with the Rona it will be even longer. Great review as always.

Clearly Lego has made a company wide decision to just not do articulation. Maybe so they can make the model look as good as possible, to sell more? As i was once a fan of bionichels i dont agree with it.
Besides the articulation, something I don’t like is the colour pallet. Take a easy the technic pieces, it still has a problem. There’s already white, grey gold and ice blue, but they still add black, which while is supposed to look like armour, the placement of this colour as well as white is odd and ends up looking more like a mess to me.
Jang when I went on amazon to pre order the general greivous starfighter that you overviewed yesterday it said pre order. Did you get your set early because you are an influencer or is there a different site? Edit: Lego.com also said preorder

Hey i have a question. I have the death star 10188 and its huge but i unfortunately had to move and took it apart. Its more intimidating to me now than the first time since everything is mixed together. Do you have any tips to rebuild big sets?
My advice is first look up the instructions online I promise you will be able to find a full set of working online instructions if you don’t have the physical copy but as for building the whole thing try to build one bag at a time and if u can sort as many pieces as possible it will be very boring but you can stretch it out for multiple days I had to do this once
the sequel to no knees: no shoulders
The skull Sorcerer's dragon also has that problem
Shoulders had to be sacrificed to get knees.

The Mino in the show is more natural and curved. Its basically a rock-rhino. This is a block-rhino.

This is by far one of the best seasons of ninjago. Though articulation does suffer in the sets.
The captain's log agreed however I do like the techniques used this season and I do like the idea of the sets linking into a board game
I really loved season 8, i loved the darkness and the different animation style. It gave a darker feeling to 8 and 9.

I wonder if the head action even needs a rubber. I'd expect the head to be heavy enough to just fall back on its own.
