  • In the face of rising political extremism, cultural polarization, and religious diminution across Europe and the US, how ought Christian communities in Europe embody a prophetic, hopeful witness-especially alongside the military conflict in Ukraine, mass migration, and populist movements gaining traction? How does a distinctly Christian approach to covenantal pluralism and hospitality “welcome the stranger,” in contrast to nativist dynamics that are rapidly shifting cultural norms and even demography? Could a richer, more historically rooted political theology help leaders cultivate renewal-even in divided times?

I perceive Bishop Williams as an alert and well-informed contemporary witness, you always learn something new if you listen to him.
