Here’s why they didn’t add it: Fortnite usually make short emotes that will loop and it’s very tough to animate And Make every Fortnite character to be able to do it so one of the workers or coworkers did not know how do get sturdy with a sensor on their body
The reason they didn’t add the sturdy part of the emote is to keep it simple and so it’s not an advantage to the game ( when the player gets sturdy, it would be harder to hit shots) just like the emotes before
They didnt ruin the emote. It was simply harder to do the Sturdy part of the dance in a motion capture suit and also it would give you advantages, it would not be able to create a loop and they cant make the emote but so long.
The loop of the dance I can understand but how the hell does a dance like that give competitive advantage. Keep in mind we have emote like The Dip or Deep Dab that were originally competitive advantage emotes that were eventually adjusted. And also think for a second how many emotes we have in the game with very unique/tricky movement.

They didn’t add the sturdy part cause the original dancer cuts it off mid song so epic couldn’t do anything to extend it without making it lose its original charm. And they couldn’t loop it so it was better to loop it earlier plus the animation for motion capture can easy capture it we already have face paced emotes and sturdy type dance like rushin around and socks
yeah but the workers who animate emotes would take so long cause of how long that would take thats why sometimes they get sensors on ppl while they do the dance to make it easier, But what probably happened was the people with the sensors most likely didnt know how to get sturdy. it would be rlly cool to have a sturdy emote (especially after killing someone lol) but hopefullly we get one in the future.
