As someone who used to have green hair, i tried getting it out via bleaching, using head and shoulders shampoo (it strips your hair - not actually good to use as shampoo), and what really worked was pink hair dye! I didn't get a bright pink, more of an ashy, but it got rid of the (faded) green, and I was actually able to get my hair completely white after a few weeks!
