Janice, You are always beautifully dressed! I understand if you didn’t feel comfortable in the polka dot dress, but it looked great on you. You are far too critical of yourself. You’re stylish, have a good figure, and are as cute as a button. So learn to quiet your inner critic. BTW I get anxiety. I’ve lived with it and I’ve treated many, many kids and adults with it, and it is highly treatable. You can feel better. 💕💕💕

Nice trip down memory lane. I do think we are more critical of ourselves than others. It reminds me of Ricky Nelson’s song Garden Party. “You can’t please everyone one so you’ve got to please yourself.”

I love your channel and your videos. I admire your bravery. I recently moved from the Bronx to the Jersey Shore, and I’m having a difficult time. Although it’s not a different country, it feels like one. I’m trying to stay positive and give it time. Thank you for keeping me inspired.
I was born and raised in NYC I eventually moved to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 to study at the university. At first I cried and cried learning the ropes here. I liked it so much that I been living here 42 years. Life hasn’t been easy, there are challenges and expectations but I’ve overcome it with time. I perfected my Spanish and have had wonderful jobs for being bilingual. I’m blessed. Hope you can get used to it. I also lived in NJ which I liked a lot but find it kind of expensive to live.

I've really enjoyed watching you realize your dream of moving to France, the process, details of the actual move, your apartment tour, and daily experiences of life in France. I thought this video was going to be about reflecting on those experiences and adventures over the past year and maybe a few regrets about life in France. But instead it was about your experiences making youtube videos and your regrets about how you looked. I think it was a missed opportunity, at least for me.

If I had a TH-cam channel I would do exactly the same thing because it makes good business sense. You and your assistant should receive some benefit from all the time and effort you put into your videos. The information that you so generously provide to all of us - free of charge - is invaluable. So what truly matters is what you think, not us, others.. I understand that you're in the TH-cam community and try to please but I have to say.. You are braver than the average bear.. You think, dream, and you go through it.. We, go through a channel like this and really want to do what you ACTUALLY did.. And only make excuses why we don't, family, friends whatever it is.. In our soul we really want to, whether it France or Spain or Italy (wherever it it is) you ACTUALLY did.. I applaud you, you are brave and are living your life as you desire wish it to be.. Like your retrospective. Moving to a different place on your own is challenging. Ageing can be frightening but also invigorating! I have lived in the UK and the Caribbean and all the eastern Canadian provinces. I always made friends and had wonderful experiences! But it took an effort on my part. Admire your courage! the problem you had with the driver, any nationality would have had it, if you had spoken Spanish he would not have liked Spain, Italian Portuguese German these people are fundamentally bad. you should have complained to Uber France directly, these people have to quit this job. Me as a French I have no pity for these people, they must be reported, the country will be better off.

Janice, the driver might not even be French. Maybe, NORTH AFRICAN?? or Middle Eastern. When they ask, where are you from?? My response??? WHY??? WHAT IS IT TO YOU?? Hahahaahah.....
The reason I ask, is because I lived in Africa, and most of the time I can detect an African accent, and I’m always wanting to know what part of Africa that they were from but I don’t say that I just say, where is your accent from. It just so happened the other day. I was in a shared Uber, and this man was from Cameroon and it was like home week.
