    Did you tried sucking the vacum, once I had an issue and suck ending metal pipes, fit back in connected pipes, and bike roar like it should be with out carburator adjust at all, unfortunately this happened back 1990's, can not remember where this thing goes but it is on right side underneath the thank

      Had to rejet it. Pod filters and straight pipe exhaust require larger jets. Thanks for watching 🐲

    Hi. I have a 79 xs11 that has the exact same filter and exhaust setup and I need to tune the carbs. I rebuilt the carbs and cleaned them and the buck runs great with ether but won’t start or idle

      If it runs good on ether that means it's not getting enough fuel on it's own, so either the petcock isn't allowing fuel to get to the carburetors or you did something wrong during the carburetor rebuilds.

      @@thedragon2299 I worked on it some more today, it starts and idles somewhat good now but the minute I hit the throttle it bogs and dies. I tried tightening the mixture screws in all the way then loosening them a quarter turn at a time and it didn’t seem to help that much. I am also confused about where the vacuum line all go. The carbs were rebuilt with a factory Mikuni rebuild kit

      @@iainsmith2922 yeah, some lines are vacuum and some are vents, it's imperative you have them hooked up right, that could be part of your problem. You need to Google a good picture of the lines so you get that right.

      @@thedragon2299 ya I tried to find a picture of the hose routing and couldn’t find anything useful. I don’t have the octy hose manifold so I’m mainly trying to figure out what the 2 side t’s and the main t are in the middle of the carbs

      @@iainsmith2922 usually the t's in the center are vents and the others are vacuum lined that usually go to the petcock to open while running. If you don't have vacuum petcocks then the lines should be blocked off
