  • I show you how I store my soft (chalk) pastels and give you some storage ideas and tips for making a set of soft pastels to use as travelling art supplies or when creating outdoors or out of your art studio. Let me show you how to clean your soft pastels too. I also share a few other art or studio tips that have helped me enjoy using my soft pastels more. Of course I share a sketchbook page too from a while back where I am using soft pastels to create some flowers on a sketchbook page.

      Hahahaha, you made me giggle 😂 The rice works so well. I find the dividers to separate cool and warm colours just helps me when reaching for a colour, you know where to look😜

    If I used rice or cornmeal I'd have every mouse in the county here! I use play sand instead and it works almost as well

      Oh goodness I didn’t think of that!😂Luckily I don’t have that problem but thanks for sharing the play sand idea. I can see how it would work exactly the same.
