I’m a travel occupational therapist. I have a masters and doctorate in Occupational Therapy (personal choice because I believe that education is something no one can take from you), I had $153k in debt and paid it all off in two years! It can be done but you need to be willing to live like a broke college student and hustle. Also, it does not matter where you go to school to obtain your degree rather employers are more concerned with your competencies, passing board certification, and state licensure. Good luck everyone - you can do it!
Thank you for this video. I am thinking of going into OT or massage therapy. Perhaps you can do a video on massage therapists if you haven’t done so already.
Thank you for making this research and video. I’m considering to make a career switch to Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language Therapy (SLT). Would love to see your research on SLT. :)
Would you mind doing a video on the field of blind rehabilitation (orientation and mobility specialists, vision rehabilitation specialist, low vision therapist, assistive technology instructional specialists, and blind rehabilitation outpatient specialist). Our field is so small, but in need of a lot of people in the field!
I really enjoyed this video! I am currently in undergrad planning on pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy. This was super helpful and I appreciate all the research you have done!
I am planning to pursue bsc occupational therapy in India. And I would like to study further like mot and dot in abroad if possible. I want to know whether I will get a job abroad?
Hello sir. I belong to an Asian country known as India. Do I have any scope in US as an occupational therapist if I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies here in India? Thank you🙏

$180,000 in debt??? I'm trying to make money here, not dig myself out if a new hole
Check out my vid on occupational therapy assistants. Only requires an associate's degree to get in. Much less debt.
As an OT, this is a great career, but DO NOT go into 180k worth of debt, you will be drowning in it for way too long.
180k is definitely a lot of debt to take on.
What about OTA or PTA?
@@durazno6897 you can find great value in an assistant degree from a city or state college. Low cost high reward.
