When my kids were little it had to be quite because of my husband. So i missed this. I miss my parents. They both passed in 2006. 6 months apart. My mother in law passed November 2007. The day after my birthday. I divorced in 2009 and my oldest sister passed away in 2010. Yes i almost had a nervous breakdown. But God has shown me where they are and brought me throu my heartache. Im just praying my family can join together to celebrate this occasion together like we used to. So enjoy the family while you can. I love yourfamily

My dad is in Hospice House with cancer and they don't expect him to make it much longer. I pray every day for miracles, but I'm thankful that he knows our Lord Jesus Christ and is ready to go if the Lord does decide to call him to his heavenly home. He's been a missionary for 35 years and has been such a witness to so many people. And I'm thankful my parents brought me up in the ways of the Lord. I could not get through life as well if it wasn't for the blessings and love of Jesus Christ. I thought I was going to be alone this Christmas which I was okay with, but God had other plans. My best friend and I went to see my parents on Christmas Eve together at Hospice House. My mother is staying with my dad there. Then my friend, her mother, and brother invited me over for dinner for Christmas Eve night. This is also my parents 49th wedding anniversary. My mother's best friend called me Christmas Eve night and invited me to come to her house for Christmas Day and spend it with her and her family. We had a nice meal and a nice day together. And I had Christmas Dinner waiting in my outdoor refrigerator when I got home. And let me say encouraging word to you and all the Griffeth's family who puts out videos and who are involved and appear in videos from time to time, it's really helping me get through this Christmas and really are uplifting to me. I really believe it helps a lot of people. Merry Christmas.
Jared, I say this every year. I don't have family. I'm just a single mama in Detroit trying to give my little 4 year old, Logan, the best life I can. Jared, YOU are the only one who has told me Merry Christmas for the past THREE years and I cry every time. Often we think of soldiers and others who do not get to spend Christmas with their families. I would also like to wish a Merry Christmas to those students out there as well, who cannot afford to make it back home either. I am currently a senior student about to graduate with my bachelor's degree in Marine Science, and due to the expense of having to fly all the way back to the mainland from Hawaii (which is where I attend University), I simply could not afford to be home this year. With this being said, watching Ellie and Jared celebrate the holidays has kept me feeling at home, and warm. Merry Christmas, friends!
Thank you so much, my family is split up and there are many issues, so it is really hard especially around Christmas time. You will always have a special place in my heart, knowing that you and your family don't even know me but you are still thinking about us and those in need of love, support or even just and smile on there face. It's so nice to see u have such a big family and to see u all together at Christmas. I lost my mum one year ago to breast cancer and my husband lost his month just three months before that. In just 4 week ago I lost my very close friend so although we had a nice Christmas with our children it was very sad and something was missing. All the way through growing up my mum made Christmas so special for me, not for the presents but the love she showed us. So to see you altogether makes my heart melt but hurt at the same time knowing I will never share Christmas with our mums or my dear friend again. Love to u all xxx

With divorce in my family and people moving away and getting remarried, people changing, relationships changing, I've had to draw strength at Christmastime somehow to make it through. Even when we are together, someone always ends up fighting. It's hard when things change and accepting them and moving on. I have my own kids and I'm so grateful for them. They make each day/holiday a lot easier. You guys are truly lucky to have what you have. I can only imagine how it must feel.

Marry Christmas! In Norway we celebrate the entire Christmas on the 24th. I was so happy that my grandpa got to celebrate Christmas with us this year. He got a stroke at the end of May and it's really bad. He never gets to move home to my grandma again because he need help and to be looked after the entire day. But we had a great time together. He said it a million times that it was good to be home in his house with his whole family. Just love that man. Again I will wish you a marry christmas. I love watching you're vlogs.
I haven't been with family on Christmas or any Holiday for 4 years now. For financial reason, I just couldn't afford a plane ticket back home. Christmas is hard being away from my family and I find myself crying a lot during the day. But watching this video bright me tears of joy and made me remember wonderful memories I have that I am so grateful for, from christmases years ago. Thank you for being you, Ellie and Jared. ❤️

Marry Christmas! In Norway we celebrate the entire Christmas on the 24th. I was so happy that my grandpa got to celebrate Christmas with us this year. He got a stroke at the end of May and it's really bad. He never gets to move home to my grandma again because he need help and to be looked after the entire day. But we had a great time together. He said it a million times that it was good to be home in his house with his whole family. Just love that man.

I haven't been with family on Christmas or any Holiday for 4 years now. For financial reason, I just couldn't afford a plane ticket back home. Christmas is hard being away from my family and I find myself crying a lot during the day. But watching this video bright me tears of joy and made me remember wonderful memories I have that I am so grateful for, from christmases years ago. Thank you for being you, Ellie and Jared. ❤️
