There are two kinda people in the world; those who are Irish, and those, that wish they were. There are two kinda people in the world; those who have been at Dropkick Murphys concerts, and those that wish they were there. I'm in the second groups, unfortunately....
This song is how I first heard DKM-it was playing in Sons of Anarchy when Alvarez' dumb son started shit with the IRA. I immediately went to IMDB, looked up the music, and said "What's a Dropkick Murphy?" I found out! I went so batshit over the Murphys that I ended up taking up the bagpipes. Because of this song.
+bruce wayne I actually think it symbolises a lot - the entire band has the backs of those girls; at that moment in time, they were two of the safest people in that arena. Legends.
I wish I would have known of these guys earlier, they are the top of my daily play list. I hope to see them live someday! They make me want to party next moment I'm crying or wanting to get a tattoo, keep rockin'!
I really like how it seems as though they actually enjoy this. I saw Jack Frost for the first time in a while the other day and one of the guys in it said how Jack told him about how music should be fun and not feel like work, I definitely think that's true but it should apply to everything that you do.
you're fuckin right we do... find the book "How the Irish Saved Civilization: The Untold Story of Ireland's Heroic Role From the Fall of Rome to the Rise of Medieval Europe" it is worth what ever you have to do to get it!!!
+CULTpixel New York Don't mix oranges and BBQ, bro. Music is Music. A show is a show. "Let it be" is my advice for you!. Of course your opinion is still . Gday!
What they are doing is a traditional Irish dance and they do it well. What's the term? Band wagon? Get off it and learn about Irish culture. It's more than Dropkick Murphys. Who are amazing. But the Irish have a rich culture and we deserve more than the reputation we have.
Great song but American Irish music always sounds once removed from real Irish music. It's as if all the cliches of Ireland are portrayed through the song. This to me is not a true reflection of what Irish music is about. Take the Cranberries, Luke Kelly, Clannad...and more....the music has meaning and the artist believes in it. Dropkick Murphys are fantastic entertainers but I wouldn't be surprised if they had leprechauns on the stage with a drum kit and drinking whiskey, if you get my drift.
When I was younger, listening to this in the car, with the only other person in the car being my dad, was amazing, i love my dad
Hes the one who introduced this to me
Noah Barnes i miss my dad, im needing him all this time

Dancers are like Gremlins. They multiply if you get them wet. That's why they call it Riverdance
The drummer.
Does anyone know the exact precision bass model Ken Casey is playing?
Vaya lástima que en España esta melodía sólo se utilice para cantar gilipolleces en los campos de fútbol.
Genial canción!
To all the Irish
@afhevh, Are you kidding me? I heard of them way before The Departed came out.
you're fuckin right we do...
find the book "How the Irish Saved Civilization: The Untold Story of Ireland's Heroic Role From the Fall of Rome to the Rise of Medieval Europe" it is worth what ever you have to do to get it!!!

Этот отсыл к 3 орешку ничего не изменит😉 я прийду за каждым
Im kinda disappointed none of them has a long ginger beard.
Is it just me or there are tons of chicks in the audience?

what the fuck, who made you the Lord of the Dance? does that look like ballet to you?
The Departed? Meh, Internal Affairs is way better! If only that movie would have a Dropckick soundtrack...
