I have genuine solution
First off all this can be hardware problem or some ui crash all thought it is most likely to have ui crash so enter safe mode in your device and you will observe that the volume button working fine I'm safe mode (safe mode is temporary mode in which u don't have any third party apps) if the issue still exist then it is hardware problem you have to visit repair shop but if not then delete all thrid party apps or more better option will be reseting ur phone
