Thanks, Emma! I don’t make this often at all because it’s so high in calories. But it’s delicious when we do. I usually go all out on the holidays and use cream and lots of cheese. 😳🥴😆
@@emmabenuska699 we make it for the holidays. And if only I could learn how to say turmeric. I heard it today called too-mare-ick. I am way off if that is the case. I’m blaming my accent and not ignorance. 🤣
@@Jacksonsjob Now Im laughing because I spelled it like I say it💥 two mare ick... Oops hopefully can pronounce it correctly soon.Delicious recipe👍I say it just like you only with a Southern Cal accent!!!
Oh my gosh! I'm never ever ever never ever buying box mac&cheese or Velteeta again! How do you reheat the leftover? Nuke'em? Or low oven? I can't wait to try this! Its the first time, I've watched somebody make baked mac&cheese that I thought was worth puting in effort to make. 👍👍 both thumbs up, Woman!!😁
So…it tastes really great reheated in the oven. But it takes forever so he uses the microwave. I found if you have a microwave that does half power and covering it with a napkin, it keeps pasta dishes from drying out on the edges as they tend to do. One tip if you do decide to make this: if you don’t cook down the milk/cheese sauce enough and it looks a bit runny/watery at the end? Don’t worry! Bake it anyway. It will thicken up in the oven. There are those moments I’ve run short on time during the holidays so I will skip the section of thickening up the milk and just immediately add cheese. It still turns out great. 😆🤫🤐
@@Jacksonsjob got it! Got to get out and about Monday so I'll get all the ingredients I don't already have in the cabinet. Plus buy some milder block cheese, all I have is extra sharp cheddar in a block. 🐭 🥴
You are like us. I’m not a fan of milder cheeses except for baking or sauces. We have American for the dogs medication and sharp cheddars or other types of hard cheese for ourselves. Unfortunately, the harder the cheese, the more they split in sauces and become oily.
❤️ looks so yummy!
Its pretty tasty. It’s one of my husband’s favorite meals. I can only eat a small portion as it’s so rich. He can eat like a plateful. 🤣😋
🤩
Looks perfect🥣🙂
