It's a government initiative to keep corrupt tyrants in power and allow the people to be complicit in the tyranny by using Islam as a veneer to justify why one shouldn't go against their "rulers." In other words, it's Pharaoh-ism disguised as Islam.

Madkhalis differ from Ahl Sunnah in 3 main ways:
1. They consider the ruler practically infallible or at least immune from the hudood punishments. This is a concept similar to Shia Twelver beliefs but at least Imam Ali is purer than MbS!
2. They follow ironically a khawarijite-style concept called "chain tabdee" meaning if you are friends with an innovative you become one and if your co-friend doesn't condemn you then your friend is also an innovator and the blood of all this network of direct and indirect "innovators" can and should be spilled.
3. They consider themselves as THE group of Muslims as opposed to A group from amongst Muslims so they do not give Salam or pray behind a Muslim unless he follows the very narrow circle of Madkhali scholars.
