I’ve only had a chance to use my mega live 1 time so far, and it was no miracle tool that allowed me to catch everything I seen. It will clearly take loads of practice to get any good at it. Watching youtube shows with their weeks of catching condensed into a 15min show isn’t an accurate representation of the system. Not to mention the average joe can’t afford it and doesn’t have every day all day to use it like these you tube fisherman. I’d rather see more people involved in the sport of fishing because of FFS, and bag limits drastically dropped…. Plus, the online marketplace is flooded with FFS. People are obviously struggling to even use it…. So this entire “Ban FFS” campaign…. Is misguided and brought on by people who have far too much time on their hands. (TH-camrs)
You hit the nail on the head. I've spent a lot of time practicing. Thousands of hours on the water to learn how to read and use this tool. It's not a miracle tool, but it can be very helpful. As shown in my videos, I'm a huge believer in catch and release, and I think we need to lower bay limits as well. FFS is just a tool, not a magic fishing catching button.
Back in the late 70’s Minnesota wanted to ban the Lowrance green box, this is the same thing all over again.
