I just have to say I really appreciate that you give all the new characters a fair chance. So many reactors don't like / speak poorly of Dr. Sharon in her earlier episodes. She is very blunt, honest, and a bit cold, but she's there to do a job, and she's great at it. It's just nice to watch someone agree with her that being winless is an issue and to not have to listen to someone calling her names.

That was one of the few complaints I had about this show. Especially after the locker-room talk with Sam, you think Ted would have mentioned it to the team when he decided to give Jaime another chance. The only reason I feel it was done this way was for the dramatic "cliff hanger" (if you can call it that) to finish the episode. Which is a meta decision bc its not based off the characters, but just based on show writing. but honestly, if that's all I am critiquing about the show, it's not that big a deal. Great reaction as always! Looking forward to the next one.
I agree it was probably done for the cliffhanger it didn't really make sense that Ted wouldn't tell the players the only defence would be maybe to shake them up a little as they are winless with 8 draws but apart from that seemed slightly out of character for Ted to me i still loved the episode though! I posted this on one of the Ted Lasso FB fan sites and they accepted it: "One way to handle the show ending is to watch and support reactors to the show. He is a British football fan so has a very unique take on the show as well as tidbits on British football culture which is interesting. I hope it makes a difference as following reactors is a great way to relive the show but with your reactions I actually learn things about Football culture! (I am a British American and have nephews in the UK who played football as kids and were very involved in it!)
I never thought about this before, but Nate's belittling behavior needed to be nipped in the bud, and I'm surprised that Ted didn't pick up on that and say something. Some people can't handle power when they get it.
For me as a football fan Jamie not being able to find a new club was a bit unrealistic, I mean he'd only just gone off to do a reality show, was still in shape and has come through Man City's youth system and had a great Premiership goal scoring record even when on loan to a team that got relegated. The show trying to say that no club would take a risk on signing him as a free agent at home or at one of the other elite Euro clubs was a bit of a stretch but cos I loved the show I just let it go

However I don't agree that I speak to my viewers like a 9 years old lol...if that was the case I feel like others would have said something about it.
