Xiang, only helped Wutong because he wanted to get back at Li Zhongmou, also liking Wutong only made LZM angrier. Li Zhongmou wanted to control Wutong because she was the mother of his child and he was concern about how Wutong actions would look upon him. Basically she was a pawn in their jealous/envy game.
My theory is that she has been psychologically damaged and is not mentally well. She is making poor decisions especially given that this family has already taken. Custody of her first child.

She finally has a chance to keep her baby and not have it ripped from her. The fact that Wu Tong forgave so easily shows she was/is too naive. I actually liked the model/actress girl.
Granted those photos were incriminating and he has asked her to keep her distance, I agree that the brother and husband were forgiven too easily. Like neither of the deserve her and she was too naive in some parts.
