Fun fact: When this game was released for the first time, Vilcabamba was still a myth. It hadn't been discovered yet. That's why the original version of the first scene is slightly different. In the remake, Vilcabamba was discovered by the time the game was released, so they changed the scene a little but to reflect the fact it had actually been found. The devs wanted to be as true to history as possible, and they were hesitant to put in myths like King Midas who was known for having the golden touch. They were hesitant to put that in because it was never proven or disproven. But they decided that it would be fun to include it.
So I was playing this yesterday and I had just gotten the second scion piece, and during the triumvirate cutscene I thought that tihocans voice sounded familiar, and I was right cause the voice actor was Steve Blum, and he also did the voice of ares in God of war 1
