I believe that the producer said that Taeyeon represents the greek goddess Artemis, which is the goddess of the hunt. Artemis is usually correlated with the moon and always seen with a bow and arrow. The song itself closely relates to Artemis' love story to Orion. I would seriously love it if SM made each member of snsd into their own representation of a greek goddess. It would go so well with their title of the goddesses of sound in the Kwangya universe.

this mv is based on greek myth about artemis the goddess of moon/hunt and her human lover orion the hunter. Artemis's brother Apollo god of sun was displeased with his sister falling in love with human so tricked artemis into firing her arrow to kill orion. Artemis in her grief, made orion into constellation. This song is about artemis greiving over her love.
In the mv, the orbs circling around taeyeon are the constellations (orion)
