I love how he GENUINELY gets scared that Gregory turned off the lights, because he probably knows how moondrop is to kids. Is moondrop the reasoning behind that angry message on the fazwatch? Did moondrop kill a kid, which is why Sundrop doesn't want Gregory to turn off the lights?
I just noticed, Freddy also gets kinda scared that the lights are turned off in the daycare. That leads me to believe that moondrop actually did something to make it so that even FREDDY gets scared.

This is my favorite character in this game. Because he's not even trying to kill you. He's just angry that the player is breaking the rules and just kicks you out of daycare

I like Sundrop. He didn't try to kill us, gently coaxed Gregory away from the security desk and even went to lengths to warn us about his alter ego. Poor guy got so scared when the lights went out and looked like he was fighting Moondrop for control. And after we brought him back, Sun still refrained from using violence.
He's just a perfectionist that wants to make friends and play games. We probably could've stayed with him until opening time.

Sundrop is like the really fun, yet sometimes over baring, and some what scary uncle that everyone likes. And then Moon is the drunk uncle with anger issues and a strong hatred for children. 🙂

I really actually liked his character he’s fun and goofy and not just trying to kill you, they definitely added more depth to the characters in this game and I like the design a lot too, they really outdid themselves!

Yea - the Daycare section is full of tiny bugs, like when Sun is out, Moon is talking, and when Moon is out Sun is talking.
Moon also tends to get stuck on things when chasing

I thought the moon speaks because he demands things to be tidy and clean. When you first knock the toys over its the sun but make too much of a mess then you can hear the moon get angry. He likes things to be clean and tidy.
@@Kriyena I believe that it's a bug because the Sun's voice lines trigger on the first two distractions, but on the other distractions around the map (even if you go there first) its Moon's voice lines - it doesn't ruin the ENTIRE game, it just lowkey ruins the atmosphere imo

Well, there are people saying that Moon is actually the security system of the the daycare to protect the children at night. The moondrop candy would be given to the children before bedtime ( some say it's sleeping pills ) so no children would normally be up and Moon won't hurt them. But since out protagonist is up, and the lights are off, he gets attacked

I'm wondering if Moon was meant to be the rule-enforcer to Sun's goofy child-friendly babysitter side, only Moon ended up WAY more aggressive than he was meant to be and ended up horrifying Freddy, Sun, and the kids themselves. It could be why Sun wants to stick very close to Gregory at the start, only leaving to clean up the mess- wanting to make sure that Gregory has no chance of breaking the rules or turning the lights off so that Moon never has to traumatize the kid.
I’m honestly thinking that maybe moon was being controlled by Vanny. It just kinda makes sense. But the note the mom left though…

Moon probably has something wrong in his system like a glitch or some sort, causing aggressiveness and a bad animatronic behaviour. Maybe without the system error, he would have been nice just like sundrop and a guard around the area for bedtime.
@@Milesboo Definitely. It's actually in a way better for Moon to be infected with the virus than Sun. Moon was probably way more gentle with the kids than him. If Sun would to be infected, he'd have a more obnoxious and lousy personality and well, nobody would go to the daycare anymore plus Gregory would have been dead by now.
he actually handled it in a way that would help if an actual child had been locked in overnight.
• he doesnt make a big deal about them being locked in and just playfully turns it into a slumber party (if a kid had been left in the daycare, chances are theyd be scared out of their mind, and turning it into something fun like a slumber party would probably ease their anxiety a little)
• he asks "where are all your friends" which could be him trying to find out if there are any other kids left in the daycare that he needs to find, or to figure out how the situation even happened.
• he keeps suggesting activities and makes sure the child stays with him because being in the daycare til morning is much safer than a child wandering the pizzaplex and triggering all the security signals and potentially getting hurt... plus it seems like he can keep the lights on at will in there, which stops him from transforming and harming them.
I totally believe this! I feel like Sun's a lot like Freddy when it comes to kids -- he's not hostile (mostly) and genuinely cares for the kids safety. That is until the rules are broken. Security alert!
yeah but even after that, he doesn't question gregory further and never gets an answer from him. all he does is try to play with him. if i was sunny, I'd definitely be a lot more serious in that kind of situation.
Actually, since the building's power is diverted to the recharge stations at the end of each hour, that'd mean Gregory would have to survive Moon like 5 times during the night in the daycare
@Dilopho I think not. sundrop would probably hide or put Gregory to sleep before the power went out for x amount of time.

It seems like sundrop is genuinely trying to protect Gregory which makes this even more sad, he’s a bit over bearing but it’s so you don’t have to deal with moondrop

Like, Sundrop seems to feel ACTUAL PAIN when he's switching over to Moondrop, and he's supposed to change it every night. They could very well just made him change into Moondrop without feeling any pain whatsoever, but no, of course they should make him feel pain.
They did not only give him some type of OCD, or made him have symptoms of it, be a perfectionist, but also made him feel pain EVERY day

The reason why moon talks at 2:22 because his pissed at Gregory runing the play structure, but you don’t see him. Sun is angry at the kid knocking down glitter glue, so moon is "talking." But sun is too kind to turn into moon already.

these two are my favorite characters, mainly because sun is super high pitch and fun to be around while moon is creepy and dark. I also like how behind sun’s super high pitched voice you can hear moon’s low, creepy voice. You can really hear moon’s voice when he says “clean up” and when he says “keep the lights on. on. on…” to gregory.

He was just doing his best and tried to be nice, I agree that he was pretty loud and acted rather quickly making it difficult for the brain to process what in the actual hell this man was doing but he had good intentions.
