1. I see the content calendar but for those of us that are working on a theme on our Instagram (IG) page, does Canva give us the ability to view the IG grid theme we scheduled?
2a. Can we link our CanvaPro account to post to more than 1 IG page? I have more than 1 business and for VA's that are posting for multiple account, will we be able to link 1 Canva account to more than 1 IG account? You did answer for multiple FB pages/groups but not IG.
2b. If we can link more than 1 IG page to our Canva account, are we able to create more than one content calendar? For ex: A calendar for FB Page vs FB Group or a calendar for IG Page and another for FB Page
3. Will the special fonts used in our caption created in Canva transfer over into IG (ex: italic, bold, font styles)?

Wonderful work as always! Do you know if there is a way to add notes to the calendar? For example, I can't upload reels from the content calendar and want to write. a note on the dates as a reminder to post certain reels.

Hi Diana! A very useful tool to schedule social media posts. On the other hand, I have a question... I tried to create a video tutorial using Canva and QuickTime to be able to record myself without a background as you did in this video. I wonder if there's an specific configuration to be able to do that? 😀

you'll need a green/blue background and then use another software to get rid of that background.
We use Premiere to do that. The technique is called *ultra keying* .
Can you plan posts without having to design content?
(ie) just posting text, URL's, and hashtags?

We use a combination of QuickTime Player to record our screen and OBS to record our talking head + Premiere Pro to edit.

Yes, you can program PNG, GIF and MP4.

I was always using content planner from canva but we can't schedule another template from a single folder unless we make a copy on that entire folder, which leaves multiple copies in recent designs and find it a little annoying. Is there any way we can schedule multiple templates from a single project or folder in the canva content planner? or any other platforms that can do it? hope you could help me with this. Hey Farrah, I understand that we need to have one doc for each post. Hopefully this will be fixed in the near future, I know Canva understands this is a great pain point for their users ✨

How do you add accessibility features with the scheduled post and add alt text n tags?
I believe this is not possible at the moment, for the tags, if it's for Instagram for example you can write them in the caption of your post.

Really good questions but unfortunately these two options are not available at the moment in Canva.
I think there's a way to schedule reels via business.facebook.com/creatorstudio/ but I haven’t tried myself yet.
I just began using the planner. How come a video posted on linkedin from Canva Planner, doesnt come out as more than a frozen picture?

Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment.
You'll have to separate the designs into single documents in order to schedule them.
How do we schedule carousel posts to Instagram from Canva? It seems we can only choose one image. What is the workaround for that?
Hi Latikia, there's no way to schedule IG carousels with third party apps, including Canva. I would recommend using this platform own by Facebook to schedule your carousels: business.facebook.com/creatorstudio/home?mode=instagram
Also, can we simply drag and drop files that are not made from Canva?

As usual, great video Design with Canva! Always a pleasure watching your content. I do wonder, however, is there no way to schedule an Instagram post that is a carousel? For some unknown reason, Instagram has now made it impossible to upload multiple images using your PC (something that worked very well for me as I create my content on my PC). I was hoping the content planner in Canva would be the solution but it seems limited as I don't see a way to upload multiple images for a single Instagram post. I can't understand why Instagram makes using its platform from a PC so unpleasant. Why would they remove the ability to upload multiple images when using a PC. Now I have to download the content from my PC then upload it to my phone. Ugh! Sorry, I'm digressing. So is there a way to schedule a multi-image post using Canva's content planner? Thanks!
Hi Melissa, at the moment Instagram won't allow any third party program to upload carousels.
Sure, you could try business.facebook.com/creatorstudio/home?mode=instagram
From there, you can post and schedule carousels to you instagram account.

I'm wondering is it possible to schedule the same post/design to multiple days without having to make copies of it? I thought it was strange how the Content Planner doesn't even have an option to schedule a post to reappear weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Thanks.
Good observation Liam, it's indeed something we cannot do for now with the content planner.

I don't think you'll be able to do that from Canva since you are not "publishing" a design ...

Are you able to tag on these posts? The hashtags are working but when I put the tag in the post it doesn't tag others' accounts. Also, when posting several 'pages' in a Canva file you can't go back into the original file bc it says that your post will be delayed. How long will it delay? Thanks!!!

What app/feature are you using to put your talking head at the bottom right of the video?
We shoot ourselves in the studio against a green (aqua) background. Then we use a feature called ultra key in our video editing software to get rid of the background.

If you have Canva Pro you can access the content planner from the *Homepage* , under the *Tools* section.
It looks like I can only plan a post in a face book page , not in my facebook profile, is this correct? Can I plan posts in my face book profile? Thanks.
Hi Margaret, you're correct. It doesn't work with a regular profile.
While doing the scheduled posting, if schedule post page 1 for date xx, I want schedule page 2 for yy date it does allow. I have to create a whole new creative, and then post. It means for scheduling I can use only page from a creative only,so for 90 days post, 90 creatives. Whereas 90 pages in one creative is much better. Please do the needful...
