Great job as always Ron. I had an Interesting recovery the other night/morning. It was a vehicle fire, got there, loaded up, and was headed back to the shop. About 3 miles down the road, I noticed a glow behind me. Slowed down to look, and the daggum vehicle had reignited. Now I'm in the middle of the road, with a burning car on my rollback. Jumped out and had to stay low and unload it, while talking to 911. That was exciting, and a pain in the neck. FD came back out and foamed it completely, before I reloaded it. Talk about 3 am fun. But I got the job done, in a safe manner.
Nice job Ron. I just noticed Facebook has a reel up on your removal of the red Caddy CTS. A couple of the armchair quarterbacks were questioning your methods, so I squared 'em away for you. LOL Bill
Two vehicle incidents. No injuries. No loss of life. Good to hear all drivers & passengers are safe. As Ron stated, “Property can be be replaced. A life cannot.” Everyone . . . Remember to slow down & move over for any flashing lights. To Ron & the Midwest Team, you are welcome & God bless.
Ron, I am so glad that no one was injured in the auto that burned. Of course, anyone in that car would have been emotionally shaken up. Praise God that she is okay. I Great job on the first one for sure! Another awesome thing that no one was injured. Believe me, I've been hauled out of a car on a backboard far too many times, and none of those I caused, but if there were one "mission" to do something that would save folks from the pain of spinal injuries sustained in auto crashes, it would be to encourage everyone to be very careful out there. I stopped driving 6-7 years ago because of visual issues, but people, please be careful out there! One moment of lapse can change lives and irreparably damage the human spine. That's why I stopped driving -- because I don't think I could forgive myself if I caused injury to someone else because of my carelessness. Obviously, we all make mistakes, I know I sure do. But one mistake I won't make is driving when I cannot see well enough to have good judgment driving. Although I still have a valid license, I won't use it other than for identification, and definitely NOT operating a motor vehicle! May God continue to bless you and yours always. Be careful out there!
as much as I do enjoy the technical, head scratchers I also love the simple pick and go's too. It shows just how many kinds of calls you handle. Loved the moment you offered the FD their Halligan bar back. The way you did so had me smirking. Thought to myself, "Typical Ron moment right there."
Two for the price of one! Two fairly straightforward jobs that show some of the variety that you have to deal with. The first one could have been too hot to handle had the FD not given the remains a good dousing. The lady did well to get some of her stuff out when she bailed out. The second job was definitely a quick and easy 'lift and shift'. The occupants well shaken but not damaged. As you put it, Ron, 'good deal'!! Greetings from the UK. God bless.
Smooth and efficient. Communication failures do stink, but when it all comes together and everyone goes home safely, it's all good. Thanks for all you do Ron and stay safe
Mr P. One thing. Your skills can be taught but will never be copied. It's in your mind and body. The experience and knowledge on each call to think about others and the safety of you and your crew. Safe Travels. 🚒💨💨💨💨
As quick and easy ae you make it look, I am sure that it still takes a lot of thought to get these scenes cleared as quickly as you do. Still the stress of dealing with nearby traffic, and dealing professionally with the other responders and dealing assuringly with the vehicles' occupants. It takes a special kind of person to do this the way you do. Stay safe and healthy.
People have been driving more crazy lately. Why I have no idea, but as you know, they are. Anyway, Ron, a great job as always. Glad everyone was on in both incidents. Neither you nor the other the vehicle owners were injured. That's always a good thing. Anyway sir stay safe out there and God Bless
Hi, Ron, as usual, 2 slick recoveries. You make it look so easy!! I felt really sorry for the lady owner of the burnt Ford. All her possessions sadly stacked up by the side of the road. But as you say, no one was hurt. However, I was concerned that the traffic passing in the opposite direction on your second pick up were not slowing down, or moving over!! Stay Safe!! Best Wishes Roy W UK.
Hey Ron, I'm glad to see the firefighters and most of the cops wearing their hi-visibility PPE. You probably should do so as well. When you climbed out of the cab on that first job, the on coming traffic lane was open and whizzing by awfully close to you!
Thumbs up great video, at least it Didn't try to flame up again as you were putting it on the truck, and you didn't burn yourself, great video thumbs up
In the first one judging by the metal debris in the road a bit before where she stopped the engine appeared to have detonated. Glad she was ok and got much of her belongings out of the car.
Great job Ron cars that catch fire. Have you ever had one catch fire while taking it back to the shop flame back up from all the wind blowing things around second accident stop and tap airbags off and everything good job. I like watching your shows every Friday.
Ron was watching a video of you dragging a truck from the mud, doing everything right. Someone made a comment that you don’t know what you’re doing. I chewed em a new one and let em know just who the heck king Ron Pratt is. Best the Midwest has ever produced into the recovery bidness👌🏻 periodt.
Choosing between the two, I prefer crunchy. You can usually fix the crunches if only mild. Extra crispy is beyond hope. One thing for sure, tow and rescue operators will always be in demand. Soon it will be ice and snow season.
One of my last calls with the fire department was a truck that had struck something on the highway......truck ended up in the cable barriers and burst into flames....... unfortunately the driver couldn't get out because of the firewall in their lap and passed away in the wreck........after the fire was out we had to extracate the body out of the truck when the proper people came to pick up the body........y'all be safe out there.......
Hey Ron, you ruined that crispy Ford's grille when you let the bed down on your tow truck. Just kidding! 🤣 I believe that vehicle was totaled. Great job as always!
Can you edit the intro/outro image... LOL, always makes me think I have something on my screen in the top left section when I start to watch... LOL Love your videos, keep up the great job, stay safe!
Ron, great videos. I know you have probably answered this question in the past, so why is it that you are in a collision, the windshield wipers go off?
On that 1st 1 she did a good job of making a big mess. These 2 were easy, just nice money makers. People thought they were having a bad day but not really, everyone walked away.
Fried On the Road Dead. My Ford Explorer was on my place in northern California when the Park Fire burned through. There is a huge puddle of aluminum under the hulk.
Good Morning! Ron, have there been times that someone from Midwest responded to an incident that where initially only one vehicle was called and the dispatcher did not ask them to expedite, but upon arrival officers on the scene asked for additional vehicles, with these additional vehicles being expedited?

Good thing it happened before you offloaded it at your shop!
glad you and your unit are safe.
Sounds like you got a trick rather then a treat on that call with it being Halloween night...
Nice job Ron. I just noticed Facebook has a reel up on your removal of the red Caddy CTS. A couple of the armchair quarterbacks were questioning your methods, so I squared 'em away for you. LOL Bill
I avoid fb comments like the plaque. TH-cam isnt much better though. Filled with armchair QB's too. Just watch any machining video
J hooks are to have..:-)
That makes more clicks for the algorithm though.
Krispy Kermit. Nice job as per usual Ron. Both incident zero injuries. Stay safe everyone
As you said earlier failure to communicate “stay safe out there always in our prayers.. thank you first responders 🙏🙏🙏

On the bonus video i noticed you went to the "shoulder" side of the road with the hooks~ ~safe operation Ron!
Happy to hear no injuries!

Great to see you back out there. All ways enjoy your videos. You have a great team and enjoy the videos from them as well. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.
Smooth and efficient. Communication failures do stink, but when it all comes together and everyone goes home safely, it's all good. Thanks for all you do Ron and stay safe
Good on that gravel hauler for holding up traffic and staying until everything was resolved.

God bless you and your family!

Another great video... I glad they were able to get out ok.
Those less complicated "grab and go's" can be satisfying too. Good job Ron!

Heck yeah Ron that's funny about the into on the Ford
Thanks for the 2fer video, Ron
Thank goodness everyone was able to get out of the vehicle 🚗. Nice job as always Ron with Midwest Truck
Got thinking that having the FD scan the cremains for hot spots before you load it up might save your truck suffering fire damage.
So very true things could be replaced not our life🙏
Awesome job Ron! Love watching your videos!😊
Another wonderful video from a wonderful man Mr Ron Pratt. Keep em coming love your channel. Been watching since 2016.😊😊😊❤

Ron, should you have put that burned Ford in neutral first before dragging it up? Don't want to damage the transmission! Haha
😂😂😂 yeah don’t wanna ruin it for sure!
You and your team are amazing
Bad day for Ford's lol Great job Ron
In the first one judging by the metal debris in the road a bit before where she stopped the engine appeared to have detonated. Glad she was ok and got much of her belongings out of the car.
You do great work. It’s nice to know you always ask how the occupants are.
Goo afternoon from hull in east Yorkshire England. It is approximately 1233pm . I hope all is well.😊
Great job Ron cars that catch fire. Have you ever had one catch fire while taking it back to the shop flame back up from all the wind blowing things around second accident stop and tap airbags off and everything good job. I like watching your shows every Friday.

Both Fords were totaled I'm sure. I'll take the crunchy one. Good that there were no injuries in either one!

Good morning from north Texas
Good safe job, Ron
Hey Ron, you ruined that crispy Ford's grille when you let the bed down on your tow truck. Just kidding! 🤣 I believe that vehicle was totaled. Great job as always!
Wow! Extra crunchy!
I prefer my Fords mesquite grilled with a side of Harley fries
Can you edit the intro/outro image... LOL, always makes me think I have something on my screen in the top left section when I start to watch... LOL Love your videos, keep up the great job, stay safe!
I like it when Fords are on the lot and not in my driveway. :-D
Two for one deal, what could be better on a Friday afternoon!
Good morning Ron and Ethan.
Damn hybrids, I feel like those things and electric cars, catch fire FAR more often than gas or diesel powered vehicles do.
What, no fishing for the cars, no waist deep water in a ditch, no arc nemesis? About time you got something easy.
Good morning everyone from Natchez, MS!
Nice video!
Ron, great videos. I know you have probably answered this question in the past, so why is it that you are in a collision, the windshield wipers go off?
I'm glad nobody was physically hurt in these two accidents.
Ron; it's "What We Happen To Have Here Is A Failure To Communicate"
That's amazing that the tires didn't pop.
I like fire engine and ladder truck in your video
Good morning from New Hampshire
"What we've got here is a failure to communicate " Cool Hand Luke

Hey Ron you couldn’t “escape “ these two cars, could ya? lol.
Count your blessings everyday. And remember the sun will shine again on any cloudy day.
Enjoy video thanks
