Although he was anything but articulate, I don’t think it’s about blaming, rather it’s about explaining why we are in the mess we are in.
You have people from the Caribbean, Asia and Africa here in the U.K. because those lands were part of the British empire, hence its people British subjects asked to come over to rebuild the ‘motherland’ after the war (although black history in the U.K. goes WAY further back than that!)
And you have asylum seekers because of British led wars in these countries (Libya, Iraq Afghanistan etc)
