We had to reupload this one due to technical issues with the first upload. We visited Beach Retreat in April 2023. Thanks for understanding and for watching! Keep adventuring! 👏
We are dying at these celeb references! 😆That's a first for both of us. Thanks so much for coming along with us and please let us know if we can answer any questions. ☺
We have done both and loved both, but we really enjoyed the vibe of Beach Retreat. That would be our top choice moving forward! Thanks for coming along with us and let us know if we can answer any questions!
Came across y’all while looking up info for our first LegoLand trip! Thanks for this video! Going to look at your other LegoLand videos now as well! Keep up the great work!
Random question lol. Were the sand toys there or did you guys bring them? I am so going to surprise my daughter with a trip here to celebrate our adoption day anniversary!
From the research we've done, if you eat dinner at the restaurants at the hotel they will sing happy birthday and light a candle in the dessert. Also there's a video board at the park that shows guests' names and ages on their birthday visits. If you are visiting for a birthday you can message the LEGOLAND Facebook page with the name age and date of visit for the person celebrating. Hope you have the best time!
I don't see them in gray anymore because we got these a couple years ago but they have them on Amazon in navy for $20, just search Lego pajamas. Thanks for watching!
Do you have to sign up somewhere online for the builders’ classes and pajama parties and the other events, or jsit show up? If so, where? Where are the schedules for the classes posted? Online anywhere? Thank you for such an informative video, again!
Hey there. You do have to sign up for the Master Builder creative workshops. Here's the link! booking.appointy.com/en-US/mmbw/bookings/calendar?fbclid=IwY2xjawEXIPZleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHeF8sOp_0z97H_8pejllmnt3uriPp8SelbhaM1dkyLv_pIgBs1wOrh1nMQ_aem_xb2Qeu4DHAkk7CPKIGwSJw
You don't have to sign up for anything else. Here's where you can find the hotel entertainment guide: www.legoland.com/florida/places-to-stay/legoland-hotel/entertainment-guide/
Yes, you can! While Beach Retreat doesn't have any special programming or any indoor play areas other than one area inside Sandy’s restaurant, guests have access to all play areas and everything going on across the street. All programming typically kicks off around 4:30 p.m. The LEGOLAND website does specify that Creative Workshops (“master builder classes”) are only for LEGOLAND Hotel and Pirate Island Hotel guests, not Beach Retreat. Also, you can eat at Shipwreck at Pirate Island, Bricks at LEGOLAND Hotel, or Sandy’s Castle Restaurant at Beach Retreat. So two questions 1. What was the AC like in the bungalows? I didn't see the usual hotel? AC would you recommend the beach retreat over the main hotel for kids have sensory issues?
The AC was great! Throughout the whole property, the AC is always pumping and the bungalows were always a great temp. Beach Retreat may be better for kids with sensory issues, it's more spread out and easier to find moments of quiet there. We loved being able to unwind in our little "neighborhood" after a busy day. When we stayed at the main hotel, we still got to relax in our room but the moment you step outside your room it's full on, even in the elevator there's music and lights.
Hey great video! Would you recommend beach retreat or staying at the legoland hotel/pirate island area? We have a 2.5 year old and almost 1 year old. Legoland hotel/pirate island cost more, do you think it's worth the extra cost? Or would u save and stay at beach retreat? Thanks!
Honestly it's totally up to the family! That's why we made our pros and cons list at the end of this video, if the pros outweigh the cons for your family then Beach Retreat is for you! We loved Beach Retreat and would stay there every time, especially as you can still use the amenities at the main hotels. We loved that it was a little quieter and had that front porch to relax on. However, it is across the street and therefore requires more planning to get to activities and pools at the main hotel. And if you're looking to save a few hundred dollars it is especially worth it. We also stayed at the main hotel if you want to see what that experience is like: th-cam.com/video/0iX9aa2mRF0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rszFQXAmSZ2s-VqI Let us know if we can answer any questions!
@@DeanTeamAdventures I also wanted to ask. The reviews for staying at the legoland hotel seem so mixed on the internet about the cleanliness of the resort and pools having different hours, etc. Have you guys always had a good experience at the hotel when you have went?
@@garciafamily5563We've stayed at the main hotel twice. It's been very clean in our experience. There's also a paper guide when you arrive of the hours for all facilities and entertainment, so as long as you follow that you shouldn't have any hiccups in timing. It's definitely a different experience there because the theme parks don't close late, so you get to spend a lot of time enjoying the hotel amenities. Our kids have had some of their absolute best memories there.
I couldn't find anything online to confirm this but you mentioned you had access to the Hotel and Pirate Hotel and all their amenities including complimentary breakfast? Did you have to show proof you were staying at Beach Retreat?
That's right! For breakfast they ask for your room # but we were able to eat at all 3. The breakfast is nearly the same at all, and the Beach Retreat breakfast is the most convenient but we wanted to show them all. But anyone can walk into the main hotel to see what it's like, we showed our parents on our latest trip.
@@DeanTeamAdventures So you’re able to participate in the events like the pajama party and such at the other resorts? That’s great, if so! Thank you for this helpful video!

Gators can actually climb chain linked fences 🐊. It’s the slick white board fences they can’t climb.
Say whaaaat?! That is crazy!

Love this so much, that's so exciting. The toys were already there. Have the best time and let us know if we can answer any other questions!
We are going for my son's 7th birthday in 1.5 weeks as a surprise! Do you know if any of the restaurants do birthday things?
