1 tip that no one takes about guy works is play some music you like and turn down the volume of the game.
My winning run was only when I played music, as it calmed me and made me stress a lot less

Go to the hunters basement and there should be an open door to get to the boss fight. The basement entrance is next to the overkill glove.
