I feel so bad for freedom and foeslayer. Freedom was kidnapped and died almost instantly, living a half life for 5000 years with cottonmouth, a horrible person and foeslayer just wanted to be with the dragon she loved :(
Freedoms was sad :( I just recently finished the book a few days ago.. I remember her saying something like ‘just cut it, but don’t make me think of it’ then they named her right before she died 😢
I'm gonna be honest, I was never really all that attached to Lizard/Freedom, so while her death was sad in the moment I'd pretty much forgot about it a week later.
also while i think about it, its not 100% confirmed, but in the guide to the dragon world i believe queen monarch died in a pretty horrible way, ill avoid spoilers and due to the fact i dont fully know she died, im voting her as at least an honerable mention
Just because she lived a very miserable life and when she finally saw that other dragons are very kind she had to die, I guess. And it was a pretty hard sacrifice considering her personality…
I thought this was a “top ten saddest deaths” not a “rating ten deaths” vid no offense I just think scarlet and arctic shouldn’t be there but the top five were spot on
@ o that’s cool I still would have put dune in here somewhere in the bottom he had a hard life losing his leg and wing then forced to live underground then killed while trying to defend the dragonets
arctic is debatable, yes he wasnt exactly good but he was traumatized, abused by his mother, treated as a weapon by a tribe that hated his tribe, and broken by his magic, he was pushed into a corner and lost everything that tied him to the choice he made so i cant really blame him for what he did in desperation, the method yes, but not the mindset he had of wanting anything good in his life back, and his son didnt even bother trying to help him heal, instead returning his frustration and hate and "unzipping" him like a suit, if you ask me ds was LOOKING for an excuse
