Thank you so much for sharing these, Ysha. I struggle with washing my face and teeth when I get depressed or burnt out, and these simple things may help. As for writing something on the bathroom tile, you could possibly used a grease pencil, which is pretty water resistant, and also easy to remove with soap and wiping. Fun note: while you started talking about palming your eyes, I was doing just that because they were hot from allergies. LOL I also love getting on witchtube on down days. I feel very productive when I watch them because I am ~*learning*~
Thank you so much for sharing Vonnie, i Will look into the grease pens see if I can actually try and get the full charm to read in the shower! Honestly I had no idea what palming was but yeah apparently five mins a day already helps 😉
I saw your cottage core video a couple days ago randomly (I think I was watching a Mickey Atkins video or something loosely related to consumerism?? I really don't remember specifics) But I stayed up late to finish it. I'm really glad that happened, and I want you to know how soothing and insightful your videos are. Thanks, Ysha, I'm glad you're here!
These are the serendipities I live for because for most of my life I was always in the wrong place surrounded by people who would not appreciate who I am and how I think so to finally hear someone finds some positive or usefulness in what I share, and it reaches them, it just gives meaning to bring here. Thank you for taking the time to leave this comment, it really makes a difference to my world view 🙏🏽❤️
I so agree with you about Witchtube and getting information from videos. The way you feel about those channels, is how we as your audience feel about yours! Thank you for these tips
I am not a practitioner, however I really like to have small rituals in place whenever I am overwhelmed, sad, or very tired (on many levels). I cannot wait to implement some of these, especially the stirring food/drink and the face washing, etc.
I'm glad to hear it can still be useful! Honestly with my need to have routines due to autism I kind of get it, I had some of these in place before I even practiced myself 😅
This was a beautiful video Ysha! It was so helpful to hear your practices and techniques. I get chronic fatigue and with depression, anxiety and ocd it can certainly knock me sideways. I was raised to be productive and always doing so I often struggle to stop and the perfectionist drive as well is pretty debilitating. I know there are so many in our community who also suffer with similar, and more and so to have witches speaking about these real issues, and ways we can support ourselves is so wonderful. One of my favourite practices to lean into is candle gazing from being in bed, as well as some incense and soothing music u know; and often if my mind feels overwhelmed and exhausted that can be so much more supportive to ease into than trying to do a full journey or meditation. Thank you for the video. Sending u strength and blessings ❤ Xx
I'm so sorry to hear you go through that too Emily, but thank you for chiming in and truly I am so grateful for your content and the company you keep me 🙏🏼❤️
this video was needed, Low energy Witchcraft ideas is great, I have High Anexity and ADHD sometimes I can only do one thing a day , sometimes I do a hundred things a day. the days I can only do one thing , Its so hard, But my craft helps me my art helps me make it through , Ill work on art stuff and get my brain back over to the right side and out of my over thinking left brain. So I found my happy place is my art, and making art for YT Videos. sending you extra energy XOXO
I feel you Cara, it's been my wife's and my rule too to have "one" task of the day and that's it, but what I've come to understand in the last few months is that one thing per day every day without interruption with no pressure to do anything for a day, also is not a viable option and instead of trying to push myself i should just acknowledge and work with it. Having a vision for artistic things must be so wonderful, I see how it works for my wife and I wish I had a half artsy bone in my body 😅 thank you so much for sharing, it helps knowing we're in this together ❤️🙏🏼
So glad it was useful! Technically next week's is going to be very similar (I just rambled 10 minutes in front of the camera today) because the last video was quite a major piece of work, hopefully will give ideas as well ❤️🩹
Thanks for this. I was a witch maybe a year or so ago but i fell off witchcraft for a number of reasons. One of which being i just had no energy to keep up with rituals and spellcasting and i thought i needed to do these things all the time at the same level to be a witch. I've got autism and ADHD and a pretty hectic routine and a job that sucks my life energy. It's good to know that i can still be a witch even if I'm running low on spoons. I think witchcraft will actually help me to get a bit more balance into my life. Even today I'm thinking about doing a big clean of my room as almost like a ritual for myself. I have a lot of things and part of my practice now is to not be as consumerist and attached to too many material things
@@fujoshipeanut5074 I'm so glad you found this video then! I completely understand how you're feeling and truly, your practice is for you so you decide how much or how little to do. And of course you're still a witch,.always 🧹🪄
17:42 the meditation technique I heard that helps is to imagine the thoughts popping in are like a leaf floating by in a creek or stream. It's there, you acknowledge it is there but just let it float on by. Hubs had idiopathic hypersomnia( similar to narcolepsy) ptsd, depression and other issues. His spoons run dry quickly. The depression monster and negative adhd stuff gets me sometimes as well. Some days we just light our candles and an incense and that's all we can do. Other days just sitting outside taking the beauty in and resetting
Thank you, as they they knowing were not alone helps at least against the self judgement which I know I have for myself but would never for others rightfully.
I am a 52 year old Navy Veteran. What you said about an imaginary line called a border was so profound and something as a US citizen now living in the south near the Mexican border I feel so deeply passionate about. We are just humans doing the best we can for our families and trying to give the next generation the things we didn’t have. ❤❤❤
This is such a valuable video, thank you so much for making it. I’ve had a similar video idea on my to-film list but ironically I haven’t had the capacity to do it yet! Thank you for sharing your tips and advice
This is so heartfelt and there is such power in your words ❤ I appreciate you for sharing such important information because you for sure are not alone. I appreciate the mention also very much. ❤❤❤ We all should be kind to ourselves. Blessings 🙏🏽
Oh honey this was such a good video! These ideas are so good and things I try to do every day so I don't have to think about it when I'm struggling. Thank you so much for tagging me I appreciate you so much. I Hope you have a good day today xx
Of course, thank you so much for taking the time to watch Beverley! It's very validating to hear you do one of this too because I was still worried it might have seemed silly or useless, so truly: thank you 🙏🏼❤️
@activistwitch no this is important we need to help one another think of ways to practice while struggling with our mental and physical health! I have added some of these to my arsenal xx
Laying in bed with a cold after my cards laughed at me for thinking I could get back to work today (because not as sick as yesterday) - this is what I needed. On apologies for what we aren’t well enough to do: My language has no word for sorry - I hold onto this when I think of apologizing for things beyond my control. If I can’t say it in my language I shouldn’t say it in English.
that's a great point to star off from. I used to begin almost every sentence with sorry, the habit of being always considered at fault because of my identity, it's definitely something i need to leave behind and reclaim
Thank you for breaking down how overwhelming something like showering can be. I have ADHD and I see that we have a lot of overlap with autistic folks. Anyhow- thanks for being visible and sharing your experiences
Oh yeah, my spouse has ADHD and I can tell when I forget my meds the drying out of dopamine really makes me sadly understand how hard every single task in life is for them and I feel for anyone with ADHD truly 😞 ps: the jumper is from Joanie but I got it secon hand on vinted!
Hi ! I love this routine sentences, bravo for this video. Do you know the qi gong massages ? Some are little, like just a push on the hand during 1 minute or more to increase health (i am not english i am trying my best here x) ) i love the youtube channel qi gong meditation where you have some little video to explain it. Best courage, love
It is good to see you today! These are such smart and creative ideas, and I know you will be helping many. 😎
Thank you! 😊 I hope so!
Oh, I love the teeth-brushing spell/mantra. That's lovely. Wishing everyone a rejuvenating rest when you need it
Thank you Veruca! I'm sure the original book also had more rituals, those are just the 3 that stuck with me
