    Springer is a mommy now! :') So glad they had faith and released her instead of dropping her into a tank to perform tricks for dead fish ...

    I'm so glad to hear that she's healthy and had a calf of her own.

    I wish Luna could have been saved like Springer.

      Luna's story rips my heart out. All Luna needed were some friends but the government stepped and denied Luna those friends because of the recommendations from "experts."

    SeaWorld did try to take her into captivity at the time, fortunately they were prevented from doing so.

      Sea World claims they rescue marine animals and release them into the wild when possible. (Whether it's possible is probably decided by Sea World) I'm guessing that they only save animals because it's a way to get animals. And they were probably delighted when the orca Morgan had to be rescued. I'm sure they had a hand in it too and that's why she wasn't released. In the end, Morgan no longer owns Sea World, but only because Sea World got too hot.

    Sea world has 24 orcas and china 🇨🇳 has 40. No one should go to those places . Absolutely in awe with these beautiful orcas .

    This is amazing! Whether in SeaWorld or in the wild, orcas are such beautiful creatures! Yes, it would have been nice if this could have been done for Luna. :'(

      ***** true, I just wish there was a way to make it not as bad, such as leaving them I chlorinated small pools and making them perform tricks every single day

    I went to Florida and visited some of the animal parks there. I'll never do it again, me and my girls cried seeing the sadness that was so evident in most of these animals. The only one that I can see that they may have helped is Winter the dolphin because she is disabled. But, there was a chance she could have been adopted into a different pod or even species. It has happened before.

    I want to see orcas in the wild and I keep youtubing people swimming and kayaking with them- are those offshore and resident orcas that they do that with or transient orcas too??

  • @xPalePeoplex

    My parents "adopted" a killer whale for me when I was younger as a surprise Christmas present, her name was Springer. I hope it's this Springer! :)

  • @hateseaworld
    @hateseaworld  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Maybe. I see on your profile it says that you are 20 years old, and Springer is 12 now. Does that sound about right, age wise?
    She is the only 'Springer' I can think of, and it is possible to adopt her (I have a friend who has also adopted her)
    So it is almost certainly your Springer.

    Transient orcas when they are in the area have been known to kill a deer or bear that is swimming from island to island. It's fairly rare though...

    Good God it amazes me how we r still allowing dolphins to be killed and chopped up to be used as fish bait which still occurs in Japan! Dolphins which killer whales or orcas r the biggest of the dolphins have been proven to be self aware and have empathy for other animals and humans! Look how smart this wild orca is where she can be told to roll over or show her belly and she automatically understands this! They easily learn what we r saying but we have never been able to understand what they r saying! Who is really the smart one? When r we going to make sure these animals r protected in the wild from being captured which is allowed in Russia and Japan? When r we going to stop putting them in pools that r to small and made to do tricks for the sick pleasure of humans? That has nothing to do with conservation and we all know that!! They will save our lives why r we not saving their lives and I mean all of them not just one here and there!!! 😍🐋🐳🐬❤️
