The original Baby Blade 250RR from the 90's was a killer! So does that mean it's not street legal? It's not euro compliant and we still don't get it in the US??? The R3 is the smallest bike currently on the market for us and I've never seen one.
The CBR250rr isn't even in the ph, which is a neighboring country. It probably wont get released in the US cause the emmissions reegulations will cripple it and it'd cost too much.
@@wargolemx102 ohh didn't know that it's not in PH, CBR250RR is from Honda Indonesia that's why the eyes of the motorcycle look like a Garuda(Indonesia's national animal)
Great video. I would like to know the key difference between R3 and R25 tho, I’m having difficulty deciding between the both. It seems to me that the extra CC of R3 offers no significant benefit over R25 as their top speed is very similar while R3 consumes more fuel. I’ve seen the R3 with a custom exhaust and I like the sound, I assume that I’ll get the same sound with R25 with same exhaust right? Please educate me on why one should choose one over the other. Thank you.
It's not about cc it's about the country in some countries u need a different type of license when u want to buy 250cc above So Yamaha reduces the cc into R25(Asian market) so the original cc is R3(Western market)
If you want a reliable, less maintenance free, easy going, daily usable in city’s or highways, you need to run long tours or small rides without back pain you can go with r3 or you are looking for a valuable for money, maintenance and parts availability is not a problem, you will need a advanced bike then you can go with 457 Or if you wait 2025 r3 will launch you will get some advanced features on it like 457
I think it's the indonesians themselves that designed this, not Honda Japan. This design started with the CBR250RR in ndonesia, then it was incorporated to the CBR150Rs which made it catch to yamaha's R15v3 and R15M's design. CBR150R v3 looked similar to the bigger CBR's, just lankier.
For a 250cc class, the R3/R25 cannot be said as a slow machine. It's still a blast for its class. Unfortunately, Honda's value proposition on their CBR is really hard to refute. Honda don't have many highly valued units within their product lineups. They produce great bikes, yes. But often overpriced for what they are. The 250RR is one of those exceptions. But be warned. The 250RR is still not a perfect bike. No bike is. It's just the better value among every other 250cc.
i think thats the most unique in cbr family, looks nothing like the siblings, and it's pretty powerful when tuning it might be the most powerful 250 with a lot of potential

@jarrolightfeather4703 Yea that's right. I haven't seen one of them on the road either. There's the Grom if you count that.

Will these be available in uk?
I think it’s not
CBR250RR most likely not (cmiiw), cuz its still follows euro 4 reg. instead R3 is available
Why does the lower spec bikes look better than the higher ones lol
Because the needs of aerodynamics since the slow bike don't care much about it so the design can be anything
I agree lol
