Me and my friends have been having a total blast playing the base game initially, then adding the first expansion for more players and variety. I can already imagine up to 12 player free for all mayhem and team based tactical skirmishes with Monster Madness. Can't wait to try it out :)))

I play this with my young cousins as an introduction to playing DnD. Now they play this while I prepare the table for a campaign. Such a great card game!

I enjoy Dungeon Mayhem. I love having a game that is quick to teach and play. I was already looking forward to this expansion, but now that I know it will hold all of the cards, and in such a nice way, it is a must.

Hi there. My son and I really enjoy your videos. You provide so much genuine enthusiasm in your videos. We both play D&D using Lego figures for some of the characters. The card game is great fun and we’ve just been discovering the Endless Quest books. Keep up the great work.
I absolutely love this game! It’s such a quick easy fun game to play to just pass time or if you have a game night and are waiting on on food and can’t start a full game of something else 😂
I'm using this as a gateway to the D&D starter/essentials kits, which will be a gateway into full blown TTD&D. I've had experience for decades with D&D cRPGS going back to the 80s
We've been playing Dungeon Mayhem and Age of War on lunch breaks at work and they are perfect for scratching that gaming itch at work! Great video!

Played it at last with the nephews. We had a blast with the Monster Mayhem expansion that gave the 5-6 player rules.

I am so glad I watched this video! I just got the monster set not knowing not everything would be in it so when I opened it I went crazy trying to find the other cards until I saw this video.
I really like the game and will be picking up the newest set when it's out.
What we use it for is a filler game for when 2 other games are going and people get eliminated or more people show up so everyone always has a game to play and are not sitting with nothing to do.
I play with 3 characters each player and sometimes with mixed abilities and it's a blast
this is actually a really smart way of playing it. i'll definitely give this a go once i get my hands on the expansion deck
Nice review. I’m probably going to get the monsters mayhem set myself. I don’t recall you saying this (I may have missed it) but in case you didn’t... This new monster box also expands the rules for up to 6 Players.

Are you sure the little tuck box isn’t so you can put two decks in there and put it in your pocket so you can play on the go?

That box bums me out. It looks awesome but the sections don't look wide enough to take sleeved cards. I really want the monster decks but the storage part is useless...
I’m not entirely sure, but I feel like the little box is meant to be used to store some decks and have it on the go/travel. Instead of carrying the whole big box with you

Mine didn’t come with the plastic divider I’m a little bummed out about that.
I put a bunch of dice in my crappy box lol. Chessex makes some smaller dice and i have 6 10 siders in for health. We use it to determine who is going first in a multiplayer magic game or other board game. It's kind of a minigame in between games.

You can still do co-op, you just adjust the hp of the big bad(s) based on how many heros that are playing. What I'm going to do is have the big bad have 40 hp and 2 heros at 20 hp.
Played at my sister and Bro in laws house...absolutely loved it.

Was a huge fan of the original starting set. Had hoped for an expansion for a while. Need to get my hands on the new stuff. Quick question could you buy duplicate sets and have 2 people play the same character?

I like the illustrations on the original product, and I think the character design and idea of playing as monsters is an interesting idea in the new content. It is unfortunate that it is all used for an extremely light and repetitive game that seems to offer no interesting choices.

I think with some changes snd a bit of playtesting for balance, you could easily add a homebrew pve card game mode to this

Does the new box fit sleeved cards?
I don't really have any sleeves to try it with, but my impression is that if all the cards were sleeved the increased width would make it pretty difficult to fit them all.

I agree with the sentiment that it's not something I want to play for more than 2-3 games. Good filler game though, I usually play it while we wait for other friends to arrive for our big game on game days.

Length and height would not be an issue, but I'd be concerned about the increased thickness.

Not sure, but it doesn't strike me as a very deep game that would necessitate that. It's a bit more on the casual side.

Was thinking initially that the game mechanics might be like Munchkin - ton of hours playing that with my boys - so a little disappointed it is not really repeat game play for adults
I also should have added in the review that I haven’t played it with more than three people. Might have a bit more longevity in a large group, or others might find it enjoyable for hours on end, but that’s not where I’m at with it, personally.

I grew up playing pokemon and digimon in grade school then magic in high school. Then a little over a decade later Wizards follows up with this? You bastards! You want all my money don't you?! Okay :D
