Yes defo my asda is within walking distance & with my r.a I can't drive(not allowed)so I can't walk to tesco/sainsbury as there're to far away. Dunno what I would do if I didn't stay right in the town centre lol xx
US kielbasa may be bigger but you have us beat on the head lettuce and celery. They are $2.49 USD each in my area. You did great with what you got for the money!

@mummycookshomemade Yes, it's expensive to get British food here. For a larger selection other than digestives or HP sauce or marmalades, I would need to travel over an hour away to an international grocery in the southern part of the state. It's crazy everywhere.
Hi Hailey great haul but it’s the norm now the price we pay for everything nothing is coming down at all , yes it’s got to be the sliced cheese slices on a burger 🍔, I have bought ready grated cheese for years now I never buy the blocks anymore, with the mince I love to make mashed potatoes and vegetables and make the mince and thicken it then pour over potatoes and vegetables,that was a meal my mum cooked for us , I am hoping to go to the butchers tomorrow for some meat pork and chicken,over the weekend hoping to cook the chicken pie that you cooked … Xxxx

hailey the choc spread is nice and no nuts.n I got that in hospital first time I ever had it. I made a pea and tarragon rissoto in self catering but that is all I ever tried tarragon in. It was fine and made it tasty, you can add ham too though. Recipe on bbc good food

Nearly lost myeyeballs out of my head, bunch of celery like you had there is now over 5 dollars You had some mince in your order, have you ever made the 'cheap' version of meatloaf wellington? The crust is made ith evap milk and comes together super simple, and the filling with the beef is delish! I roll mine up like a cinnamon swirl. Serve it with a mushroom sauce or gravy. xx

Can you not blitz your granulated in a. Mixer and make it finer for your baking and save you some money doing This in bulk 🐝🐝🐝
