Great video! No, I don't have a Cougar but my parents had a 67 when I was snotty little kid. Anyway, this video helped me recover my 66 Bronco door panels, not a Cougar but Ford cousins indeed. PLUS my cats Midnight and Friday loved the crickets sound effect but ignored the Italian car. Thanks again!
Thanks for the tip, I have a 67 XL convertible with the optional luxury trim option nothing is reproduced for that trim looks like I can save my panels.
can't wait to start on my 1969 xr7 it has been sitting since 1979 to 1980 it's black on black with the 351 w and a amx Trans. so I am super super excited!!!!
We have prototypes from a new supplier, just need to do some test fitting to make sure they're good, then do a production run. So hopefully it won't be too long!
SMS AUTO FABRICS IN OREGON WILL REPRODUCE THE PANELS, BUT THEY TAKE A LONG TIME. YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT WITH THEM. THEY HAVE DONE 2 CARS FOR ME AND THEY WERE EXCEPTIONAL . JUST BE PATIENT IF YOU WANT NEW EXACT REPROS
That staple thing is solid gold. Wish I had seen that a few years ago!
Another killer video from Don Rush and Company. I am using this video to practice on a spare pair of 69 XR7 panels.

Why did the beltline strip not use the factory holes?
The factory was not consistent in where the staples were installed, so there was no "correct" placement for the reproductions to use.
@@WestCoastClassicCougar oh gotcha! Thank you for the response!

helpful info for most 70's door panels.
