The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. The Atheist Community of Austin is dedicated to promoting atheism, critical thinking, secular humanism, and the separation of religion and government.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

Such a red flag that he doesn’t want to name the religion. I once tracked it down and it has a Wikipedia page. Not a secret all. But by not naming it, he can keep it safe for himself. Otherwise we could just easily check what they claim and see it’s just another religion making false claims and just another cult leader profiting from gullible followers.
Which religion is it? How do you know it's the same as what this caller was following?

I class myself as a Hardcore Atheist. Which means I KNOW! a ‘God’ of any kind does not exist. Back then thousands of years ago people knew nothing about the Universe, Science and Astronomy, had no equipment to test anything. So they made up different ‘Gods’ to try and explain it with no evidence to back it up. There is no getting away from that. There is no talking their way out of that. They were ignorant of anything about the Universe back then, so made it all up about the existence of ‘Gods’ to explain it.

If God’s intention is to unite all of humanity under him, why has he, the all-powerful, failed? Free will? But free will is an illusion. I can’t simply will myself to believe in God.
Why aren’t we hard-wired to know God exists? We’d still have to choose whether or not to love, worship & obey him.
The Bible tells of Hebrews who saw God’s face, yet still rejected him. Judas knew Jesus well, but still betrayed him. So it is possible.
Then why does God hide from us? And in doing so, made our free will more powerful than his own intentions?

Jesus loves you. You can KNOW Him through His Word and through His Holy Spirit who will give you knowledge of His presence. Ephesians 1 declares your Godly purpose is to be holy and blameless before Him. He made that possible through the Gospel message (John 3 16), which invites you to know God's love and promise and fulfill your purpose in Him.
