I'm reminded of a theory I heard once that Jevil was actually a mandatory boss and that he'd show up in a festival dark world, but only if not fought in chapter 1. The literal only evidence to support it besides "it would be cool" was Seam's comment that it might be better to deal with him now, but it's still an interesting idea that I think is relevant to this for the obvious reason of a Jevil fight at the festival.

He never tries to let others think more about the deeper meaning of the adventure, evident when he ignores the fact that Spamton really wasn't a normal fight. Kinda makes sense that he'd get the Everyman cart then, since that's also a suspiciously-constant reappearing character with vague intentions.

Yeah this does feel like something out of a dream. Do you ever have dreams of new rooms appearing in your house? This is like the video game equivalent of that. Your brain automatically making up a second phase to a boss that doesn’t have one. And the way the instruments are the same but the melody is completely different adds to that. Jevil's cape shouldn't be floating like that because they're going in the opposite direction but apart from that it all looks much cooler than the original and now this arena makes more sense than in the original because the carousel was spinning and the main characters weren't spinning with it and in this one it makes sense now and it looks epic especially Jevil and his position with that jevil's knife.
