74K is 2022 model & 75L is 23 model. If you are a gamer having ps5 then 75L is good option, otherwise you can choose the older model. Instead of gaming features no major differences on them

Considering to buy this as my secondary TV (bedroom). Also considering the Samsung Q70C. Tough decision. The Samsung is a lot thinner and will probably look better on the wall, but I think this Sony has better picture (possibly) and for sure better sound.

The one thing to consider though is that it does not have Google TV like Sony so if you are to use a special app (like I had to) I needed to buy a Chromecast with Google TV unlike my other TV that is an older Sony with Google TV. Samsung has X box app though and if you are into gaming you can just log in with your xbox account and add a controller. Its very thin and looks good on the wall. Samsung has vivid colors, Sony will have more blacks. So basically if you are just going to watch movies and TV I think I would have bought SONY if I did not have one already. But I chose Samsung since I had a sony and wanted the gaming features and the sharp colors. Sony is my all time favourite TV brand though.

Check your set top box audio settings, there must be a dolby audio i guess. Try enabling or disabling that and you will see the difference.

Yes both can connect at same time. Set top box doesn’t need arc, only soundbar needs arc. Sound of the set top box will also come from soundbar.
