- As we have been witnessing extreme heat in Dimapur and the temperature rising 37° to 38° Celsius which is a big concern for the citizens. This year Dimpaur is witnessing extreme heating as compared to last year. It is to be mentioned that the power supply is very irregular and due to severe heat not only our skin is affected but it also affects our health in several ways. So, In order to stay hydrated, drink enough water and eat fruits that contain high levels of water.

Last year one minister promised that all the school institutions will declare every Saturday as holiday. But i dont see it implementing.

The weather in Dimapur as well as around the world is changing drastically due to Global warming, now it's May but the temperature is becoming unbearable, what will happen in the month of July and August !?,
This is a big concern for us and the citizens of Dimapur, it'll be better if we stay indoor From 10 am to 3 pm or 4 pm inorder to stay away from heatstroke,
# Electrical Department please no loadshedding during these summer months since we are paying bills every month

Compare to other states it's moderate in Dimapur. Delhi Rajasthan, Punjab temperature rising to 45 degree.
Its not just the heat but humidity that really matters. Sometimes you will see the reading as 38'C but below another reading will be there "feels like 43'c or 45'C according to humidity levels in the air. Its not the degree C but the humidity level that matters more.

@@AK-galil In short the given temp is readings from, say heat measuring devices whereas on other hand feels like is how our body will feel the heat considering our avg body temp and factors like evaporation and humidity ,you will feel more warmer or hot if humid lvl is high since our body cannot evaporate our sweat to cool us down ..Hope it's understandable
Humidity, temperature both are high in other state's comparing to Dimapur, people suffering from heat strokes .
@@ziarahman4319 check your weather app and try to learn. Yesterday humidity in Delhi was 15% while Dimapur was 66%. Today Delhi is 35% while Dimapur is 79%. The human body maintains its cool by body heat being removed by sweat evaporation. When in less humid climate dry air sucks off the sweat quickly removing body heat . Thats why in delhi you don't sweat much. In humid climate the air is already full of moisture and cannot suck up your sweat. That is why in dimapur you sweat wetting your clothes and worse your own sweat steams you up like cooking momo.

99.9% of the schools in the state, especially in district like dimapur,where heat wave is more, don't have proper power back up ,nor A/C .We see congested classroom with excess no. of students, with no proper ventilation.
Concern Department should take preventive steps and relief the schools for the sake of the children atleast for few days.
Heat wave is a very serious concern. People in other states are losing lives due to this very calamity.
We should plant more trees in and around Dimapur, not so tall trees.

Actually it's delivery at your doorstep... So why should we come and get it??? Outside of Nagaland they bring it till your door so why not here?? For my delivery I have to walk atleast 10 to 20 minutes and if I ask them to bring they say they can't... They are working for their own livelihood so why don't they do their job properly... I really feel bad for all my Naga family...but at the same time i see the continuous cutting of trees and forest...If we have senses we shall not complain about the Power Department but instead realize the main cause behind the issue.... otherwise be ready for the coming years as well....And sad for people like us who has not got a plot of land in MARS🤣

An area of approximately 25-30 km stretch dimapur, with huge density of population, what more can we experience.. there's only one solution to this problem.. Stop illegal immigration and buying fancy cars only then there will be some level of changes in the pollution control.. increasing number of population and vehicles will only lead to more and more generation of warming
