Just a couple of notes about the dbal d2, only the FDE is discontinued the black is still available. The dbal d2 illuminator is LED based, so the beam cannot be narrowed down as tightly as the laser based illuminators, but the trade off is the illuminator power isn’t restricted.
Excellent video. Its difficult to explain to people getting into nods what to look for and considerations without going into a 2 hour rant. This is a really good jumping off point to send to people.
i have the opposite issue. modlite/surefire switches being extremely unreliable and finicky for activating white light. tail cap works every time no exceptions
You’re “passively” aiming by looking thru the optic (no one else can see your dot) vs actively putting out a laser into the environment to aim and everyone can see your laser. Thats how it’s been explained to me, and I’m not sure of a better explanation for that specific terminology. At least I haven’t found one.
What I would like to find out is (I apologise that it's off topic) if there is an optimal barrel length in relation to your overall height? Jared, I'm guessing you're 5'11"? So a 10.5" is optimal for you to manipulate your rifles accessories like your laser and weapon light. What is optimal for a person that's 5'6"? or 6'2"?
@oriontraininggroupllc2782 Thank you for the reply brother. I hope I didn't offend you with guessing your height incorrectly, taller people are usually not as big as you. Solid video as always. There's always a lot to learn.
Steiner has some products, BE Meyers makes a non FP mawl but in my opinion it’s over priced. There’s also non fill power PEQ boxes out there. A bit of googling will yield plenty of options
Great content, as always! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?

🎉
Gunnies everywhere seeing you hold your helmet by the strap, “WhAt Is ThAt An EaStEr EgG bAsKeT?!”
I watched until the end. Two things, one, when is the test, and two, do i get a cookie for watching to the end? Also, great video gentlemen.
These episodes are like going to the movies for gun guys.
The True Lies reference had me rollin 😂😂😂💀💀💀
Nice. cool show and tell
Good stuff. The TNVC V-Shott series on YT is also highly useful for NV curious/newbie people.
Good to know thx

Tailcaps ftw!
And no power drain when using tailcap
Late to the party,, what are your thoughts on vis-only lasers for LEO who don’t use NVGs. Marking, communicating and teaching?
I would imagine you would use vis more often than IR in LEO. I'm probably wrong but the possibilities are there.
Yeah it’s almost must IMO, especially for gas heavy teams.
@@DAMBIGlsuyour 100% correct, a bright vis laser is used constantly day and night.
1:08:38 dude really looks like a GAFS user
Why is looking through your night vision through the gun optic called passive aiming/shooting?

@@oriontraininggroupllc2782 That makes a lot of sense thanks! Great video I watch a lot of them even though I don't own a gun 😆

I am 6’ 1”. Barrel length is totally unrelated to a person’s height.

@@AyandaKulaoh no not at all. Just wanted to answer the question lol
@oriontraininggroupllc2782 Thank you brother. Much appreciated.
What was the ear pro setup you were using at around 52 minute mark
The peltor comtac 3’s are what I was discussing breaking the seal when shooting
Nut vision
What are some examples of non full power illumination that is worth it? Please don't say Somogear....
Steiner Dbal D2

Probably over 50K in guns and gear with a mic bought from TEMU for $9.99. Come on. Get better audio. It’s bad.
