HOW TO: Conceal VITILIGO (face)

- I wanted to show you guys how in depth of a process it is to conceal my vitiligo. Like I stated in the video it could take me well into two hours to put on my makeup. I work slow because that is how I personally can achieve a "flawless face".
I hope you enjoy this and it helps anyone out that is looking to conceal their vitiligo.
Personally I enjoy makeup that is how I learned how conceal my spots. I am not ashamed as everyone I know, knows I have vitiligo. I will continue to wear makeup because it is what makes me the happiest and I will ALWAYS let it be known that I have vitiligo on my face.

Sadly make up does not cover. I went to sephora and looked like a clown. Hard day. But its gotten so much better. Been in continual prayer because I was not same person.

me too, when i had vitiligo i was so depressed and made me to search a cure on TH-cam but luckily for me i found #doctoriyhere on TH-cam which i used his herbal medication and it cured me completely from white patches. all thanks to Dr. Iyhere on TH-cam.

Makes me wanna try out Dermablend foundation, using foundation looks so easy, I have Vitiligo, I just don't show it, I have to cover up, always. But I use Dermablend Compact Creme with Cover FX Setting Powder.

I also have vitilogo, I will be make a video myself soon. I recommend covering the spot with a dark color concealer then go back over with your color foundation and it works perfect for me. You did a great job covering it! You look beautiful!!

you are *so* good at that. I have patches of lost pigment on my shoulders, arms, a little on my chest and stomach and all over my back. I'm not sure what it was from, originally I had a rash type thing all over where I said. it was a little bit red and itchy. when I healed it all turned white, like I lost the pigment in my skin in every place I had that strange rash. so whatever it was, it made me lose pigment. I don't let it bother me though because I have been through so much, a little pigment loss is the less of my stress lol!

Your beautiful! I got a white dot the size of a dime in the summer also a tiny one between my eye and top of my nose. It's a little scary so far but I'm waiting for the results. I don't know weather it's sunburn or vitiligo.
I have vitiligo too. On my face, I only have it on my upper and lower eye lids but I do cover it up on a daily basis. That is just my personal preference. My son always tells me "mom, you look fine, its not that bad" but I too love makeup so good excuse to "cover it up".
I have vitiligo also. I have used the Double Wear by Estee Lauder and also Clinques Beyond Perfection for the vitiligo (white spots). Just wonder why you choose Revelon Color Stay foundation instead of Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturing Foundation or Re0Nutriv Ulra Radiance Liquid Foundation your 1st application you put on. Just curious.Have you ever used Clinque Beyond Perfection

I got hyperpigmentation back in 1999, on my honeymoon laying in the sun and being newly on the pill. So after 6,7 years I decided to see a dermatologist who said a laser treatment would take care of it. The day of they gave me versed and something else for pain. He got started and it was the most painful experience of my life. It felt like having being burned slowly. So after it took a week or so to heal and as time went by I noticed more and more small round white spots all over my cheek and neck. Went to see a new dermatologist who told me when I informed her of the laser treatment I had she knew of it and told me that they are finding more and more people coming forward with this problem after having that specific laser treatment. So I want to sue! Now that goes against my personality, but this is so difficult to live with and I was never warned that this was a possible side effect. I can't cover it with makeup, I've had other treatments to help it which are very expensive and I would like to be compensated for what it takes to be brought back as close as possible to a normal completion. Any suggestions, opinions, suggestions, words of wisdom, would be very grateful to receive.

Then its settled I'll go to Florida lol I went to orlando (disney) & i fell in love lol. Well I absolutely love my anastasia dipbrow. I also use revlon color stay. I play around with a lot of foundations haven't had one that I've sticked to...yet! I buy from bare minerals to smashbox to drugstore makeup oh and elf cosmetics they are surprisingly good lol. I feel like even though people say they can't see my spots I can still see them lol idk weird but it's how I feel lol. They're around my chin and my skin color is idk what color lol seriously i have like a pale but not to pale with a hint of golden color lol. My eyeliner I've tried a lot but boy do I love my kat von D tattoo eyeliner!!! I've never tried the estee lauder that u use but I'm about to I honestly love the coverage it gives you! I am new to the makeup world but I've learned a lot in a year and the more I apply it the more I learn...also TH-cam and ig help lol. I'm even starting to do my sisters makeup lol. Anyways stay awesome & know that I enjoy following you here and in ig! U help a lot!!!!
So I found your video, I don't actually have vitiligo. Im here for my mom she has really light skin and her spots are white and some pink but I was wondering can you find these at like a Sephora store any other makeup store? Her spots are smal but they're spread out on her face.

Take Bakuchi oil as per your requirement.
Mix it with an equal quantity of coconut oil.
Apply this mixture on the affected area and expose it to morning sunlight.
Repeat daily for better results.

+Vani Kapoor Of course! Thank You so much for watching! Vitiligo is different for everyone... I've heard some say it goes away in the summer, the sun helps regain pigment... and it other cases like myself the sun causes it to spread and I get new growth....

I also have VITILIGO. So I use Lukoskin cream n oral liquid.. N then I see the results in my face or my neck. Almost my vitiligo is gone .just little bit left white patches in my eye area. I tend to go shopping a little too frequently and I also am signed up via email to Ulta and Sephora and Tempalia.com so I find out through those sites the newest sales. When it comes to drug store makeup I always check out the Sunday paper! Also check out the drugstores there is a lot of makeup getting discontinued. Wow this fantastic. I've generally disliked wearing foundation but I was dx with vitiligo a few years ago. I was told I had plenty of time til it spread to my face but today I noticed it's starting to happen around my mouth :"( I've tried so hard to be thorough with sunscreen use. But my big worry is not knowing a thing about foundation let alone how to put it on. I dont want a "cakey" look you know or is that just inevitable and I need to accept it?
I also have vitiligo, play around with different makeup and primers, I love buying drug store makeup because its less expensive and I can try the "new" products

How do you find the right foundation for vitiligo its so hard since the vitligo is so white i have dark skin
It is actually very difficult to find foundation for us with vitiligo :( My foundation is usually a little lighter and I deepen it with powder foundation and bronzer. I would try Covergirl Queen, Iman, Milani they usually have darker tones :)

Very expensive. In San Clemente its 8500. Because vitiligo is autoimmune disease, we will need more treats every 6 months to a year.

i have vitiligo on my eye lid and everyone always asks why one eyelash is white :( im not saying vitiligo is bad. i just dont like it in my opinion. some ppl can look beautiful with it, but its not workin for me. :/
I know what you mean. I have vitiligo everywhere, forehead, cheeks, nose, eyes, chin, neck, thighs, knees, feet, butt and chest, arms, hands and back. Everybody is saying how people are still pretty with vitiligo but i'm just not feeling it. I play tennsi 6 hours a day so I cant cover it up with makeup. My eyelashes arw white too.

I knew it was going to be a problem when I finished launch with a friend and he said you have something at the side of on mouth, my first reaction was that it was just food. But it wasn't. Something else was growing there, so I contacted Dr Iyhere on youtube with the help of my friend. I know vitiligo can be challenging but with the help of Dr Iyhere I found support and guidance leading to my skin pride.

I've given up on covering it, I admire you so much for covering it. Makeup in general is just too much effort for me :p
Also with it being on my arms and face, and it spreading like fucking crazy in the summer I have given up :p

Its impressive the way you are covering your vitiligo. My question is, why don't you use only one foundation which matches exactly your skin colour, instead of 3-4 or more foundations?

Kayla please wear shorts it is so hot!!! Vitiligo is beautiful and for those who make fun of you ignore them. Sadly they aren't mature and they are envious they have boring normal skin. It is a process but it is so rewarding once you don't give a damn what people think. Most of them don't even care :) xo

I thought you were going to use a special makeup. I remember one time JCPenny sold me a make up for scars that I saw advertisement about , I even forgot the name, but it was even water resistant or protectant, and it lasted all day. It was quite expensive so, I never bought it again. I bought it to use it when I went to swim. This was about early nineties. I wonder if they still sell them.

Hi Monica, My brow hair is becoming white as well as a few of my eyelashes. I pluck my out with tweezers because I fill them in with brow powder & gel. I don't recommend plucking them because you'll start getting a bald spot as I am but since I fill them it isn't an issue for myself. I would just use brow products as it does work or a brow tint to conceal the white hairs :)

With all due respect I appreciate you doing this video.I have Vitiligo myself. But I really don't see why do I have to cover it up. There are people who stay away, but then isn't it good such people stay away?

Just get one thick makeup like huda or mac studio tech and pat on with a beauty blender then set with full coverage power. Don't swipe pat and layer.

Hi! I use estee lauder double wear maximum cover for face and body on my vitiligo and top it off with any full coverage foundation from the drug store or high end :)

I only have it on my eyelids for now and I didn't use to wear makeup but people would make fun of me and asking me what was wrong with me so it kind of pushed me into wearing makeup? I'm actually really scared it will spread to my entire face because I don't really like makeup
dont be. it will only make it worse if you stress. just have a healthy life, an go out on sun more (just make sure not to burn your skin !) and i suggest you to take some vitamins too.
ignore them..i dont use make up..
I have it to and I understand your pain. I get told all the time that I have a "sunglasses tan line" and I've just reached a point where I let them think that because it's easier than trying to explain it, or I won't leave the house without makeup.

No it doesn't, but you can find a certain type of cream that will fade the rest of your skin to match your vitiligo I believe. Embrace it! You're unique :)
I want to cover my vitiligo up but I see the different tones in tour neck you look light and dark I want to do the cover without that different toned face and neck. Hard to find guide for that
Its gonna be different color sometimes. No way around that unless u put makeup on neck of course
I love the Estée Lauder foundation I have vitiligo on my face aswell I just have a spot by my eye and the Estée Lauder foundation does a great job on covering it nobody knows I even have it with the foundation, my problem is when someone takes a picture of me with flash you can see where I tried to hide it I don't know if I need like a powder or am I putting on too much idk what do you think?
Andy Gonzalez Hey Andy! I had the same problem with the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and it also broke me out badly. Try to set it with powder the color of your skin tone maybe? Don't use translucent or anything with light reflecting properties. Let me know how that works and I can try to look more deeper into it if it doesn't. I think that foundation has SPF? which causes the flash back.

I hardly have vitiligo now after my first pregnancy. I have very little spots that I no longer conceal. I plan to do a video on day one on my skin and my newest routine.
